Casita Jardín can only be rented monthly.

Your charming adobe casita sits in the midst of a large garden in a lovely gated compound in Santa Fe’s delightful Eastside Historic District. Casita Jardín has just been totally remodeled, yet provides the historic adobe features and the colorful and rustic furnishings that visitors to Santa Fe so appreciate. Southwest design touches abound. It is most comfortable for 1 or 2 people (queen bed), but does have room for guests on a queen sofabed.

The remodel included new brick and Saltillo tile floors, diamond plaster walls, a new kiva fireplace, new kitchen, new bathroom, new insulation, stucco, windows, roof, radiant heat, and air conditioning. Nothing has been forgotten.

Casita Jardín provides a queen bedroom with HDTV and a small desk in front of the window should you need a quiet space for working while in Santa Fe. There is an attached, large bathroom with tiled, walk-in shower. A full size washer and dryer are hidden here behind closet doors.

The living room has a new, American Leather sofa that pulls out into a very comfortable queen bed, if needed for guests. The wood-burning kiva fireplace adds additional magic to the cozy living room. There is also has an HDTV and DVD player.

The eat-in kitchen has all new cabinets and appliances, including gas stove and dishwasher. The antique table and chairs give a typical Santa Fe flavor. From the kitchen sink you have a great view out onto the patio.

Most seasons you will most certainly enjoy the private, outdoor patio with dining table and six chairs underneath a large portal. There is also a chiminea (Mexican outdoor, free-standing fireplace) you can warm up to any time of year.

The compound is located at the end of Hillside Avenue in a country-like setting, accessed by a private gate. The common grounds consist of lovely gardens in a grassy, flower-filled setting.

From here it’s only .4 mi to Canyon Road and .7 mi to the Plaza.

All amenities are included: linens, kitchen equipment, off-street parking, washer and dryer, radiant heat, air conditioning, cable TV and WIFI that even reaches the patio.

Convenient to everything!

We loved our stay at Casita Jardin! Its location was great, so convenient to the Plaza, and even closer to Canyon Rd. But at the same time, we were able to relax and take our meals on the patio in the evenings in complete privacy. Everything inside the Casita is top notch. The decor 'felt' like historic Santa Fe, with the tile floors and interesting antiques, but at the same time the stainless steel appliances, and bathroom were modern and beautiful. All of the extra touches, condiments, info about what to do in the city, were provided. If we get back to Santa Fe, this little casita will be our first choice!

Beautifully Appointed Casita

We stayed in this lovely Casita for 5 nights. It has been beautifully refurbished. The kitchen is perfect, the outdoor area is lovely and the shower is exactly what you need after a day walking around Santa Fe or hiking in the mountains. We were very happy with the location -- convenient to both the Plaza and Canyon Road. Best of all, there were no surprises, it is exactly as represented in the posted pictures.

Perfect location!

We loved our month in this lovely casita in a fabulous gated compound. The management is ver responsive. Perfect walking distance to the plaza, shopping and restaurants. The kitchen is a dream to cook in. And the patio/courtyard is perfect for morning coffee or cocktails in the afternoon. A special bonus are the great neighbors! Highly recommended.

We loved it!

We just spent a month in this darling little adobe. The kitchen is fantastic. We rent through VRBO all over the world, and I've never encountered such a fully outfitted kitchen. It was perfect. The bed is a high-end memory foam mattress. Just fyi. The sleep sofa is the best sleep sofa we've ever encountered. No bar to break your back, so it was great for a visiting young person. The little garden is ideal for coffee in the morning or wine at night. We called it a Hobbit House, as it is small, but it has everything you need, and it doesn't really "feel" small. This is the best management team we've ever dealt with. Anything that we needed was handled immediately. All fixtures are high end. Charming little things, like handmade wrought iron towel bars. We loved this adobe. We should also mention we were deeply appreciative of the gate and the location. The gate made me feel safe and the location cannot be beat. You are close to downtown and the Plaza but outside the mayhem of it all. It's ideal. Oh, the closet is a former confessional so this is my confession. We loved this adobe.
