The recently renovated old mansion, dating back in 1940, can comfortably accommodate 4-6 people and is located in the quiet heart of Monolithos, with views over the countryside and the surrounding mountains. This stone house has kept many historic features even after its renovation. The design intention was to seamlessly blend the structure of the Greek House into the texture of the existing traditional village. The layout inside offers 78m² of living space over two levels, elegantly separating the kitchen area from the living room and bedrooms with a beautiful arch in the middle of the room. It has magnificent thick stone walls, wooden beams on the ceilings, one spacious living room with sofa beds and fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms, one bathroom and a charming Greek courtyard with BBQ facilities and a sitting area.
The village of Monolithos is one of the most traditional villages in Rhodes which has kept its character with beautiful old stone buildings and narrow streets. Monolithos has many attractions for visitors, the most famous being Monolithos Castle. There are many mountain trails and walks in the surrounding area nearby the House which has an abundance of wild flowers and herbs.
