About the property

Located just two blocks from Main Street in Ketchum, you can park your car and walk/bike to all the wonderful shops, galleries, restaurants and trails. A morning stroll to Java on 4th for coffee is only minutes away, and the 48 mile long bike path that leads to River Run, Warm Springs, Sun Valley and even Hailey can be accessed right across the street.

River Run, with its new gondola and beautiful base area can be reached in a 30 second drive, 5 minute bike ride, or 10 minute walk. Which means you can have the all the amenities of town but still have the relaxation of being in the mountains and close to the slopes. The bike path mentioned earlier turns into a cross country ski trail in the winter for those prefer to ski down to the lodge or beyond.

The townhome is three levels, so your family and friends can have both time together but also find solitude for those times when relaxation is key. Built into a small elevation change, the three level design is accessed on the middle floor. Here you will find two bedrooms and the main bath. Going to the upper level, the kitchen and living room are designed to be enjoyed together so the master chefs can still be in the conversation with those relaxing in the living room. The lower lever boasts a third bedroom, 1/2 bath, laundry, garage and access to the courtyard.

LIVING ROOM: The living room is all about comfort and relaxation. A 46' HDTV with over 400 channels/DVR and extremely comfortable furniture awaits those after a long day skiing or on the trails. The gas fireplace can be set to a thermostat or clicked on by the push of a button. The surround sound/DVD/CD player will let you watch the big game or a movie in style. It is also ready to accept your iPod if the 60 channels of music on the TV doesn’t suit your needs.

KITCHEN: The kitchen and dinning area were designed for the chef and entertaining. The Kitchenaid gas range with convection oven and warming drawer should keep even the most finicky cooks happy. The other appliances are the large Kitchenaid side-by-side refrigerator with automatic ice maker, dishwasher, and microwave. Concrete counter tops allow for plenty or prep space, while the dining area seems to attract groups for great conversation. Just off the kitchen is the deck with has a small bar/dining area for morning coffee or a romantic evening meal. Also on the deck is a full sized barbecue, for those wanting to grill.

BEDROOMS: The two bedrooms on the middle level are outfitted with queen-side beds, while the lower bedroom is equipped with a full size. Each room has an iPod/iPhone dock for listening to music while you relax. A 24' tv is situated in one of the bedrooms and can access all of the 400 channels as well as DVR'ed programs.

GARAGE: The garage is set up to be more of a toy room than a place to park your car. Almost a rarity in Ketchum, it is a perfect place to store your bikes, skis, kayaks, motorcycles etc safely. It is finished with a fooseball table for those nights when you want to stay in.

About Michael Stevens

I was born in Washington State and moved to Sun Valley after college and a brief stay in Whitefish Montana. Originally my plans were only to stay for a winter to two and then move back to a city to start my 'career'. Well one winter quickly turned to two and then some how I spent 15 seasons loving and living in Sun Valley. The beauty of this area and easy access to skiing, biking and camping have made me realize that it will always be apart of me.

Recently I moved to Boise with my wife and two daughters. We live on the outskirts of town in farm country to appease my wife's Nebraskan roots. A stark contrast to SV but it make getting back up to the mountains even sweeter.

Why Michael Stevens chose Sun Valley Area

I originally purchased this town home for a few reasons. The great access to town and the ski area. There is nothing better than being able to walk to dinner, the movies, coffee or the night life. And many times, I have chosen to stroll down to the lifts when a holiday weekend packs the parking lots. The biking trails, can be accessed straight from the garage, as there is no need to drive to the trail heads. So once you get to town, you don't have to worry about who has the car as most often it can be parked until you decide to leave.

What makes this townhome unique

Some of the unique benefits of this home is the three level design. Most condos or town homes are a single level so once everyone is home, there never a chance to get your own quiet time. With the three levels guests can be watching a movie upstairs while someone is napping in piece and quiet downstairs.

Also the garage is a great benefit to bikers. You can gear up, and ride right out of the garage to your favorite trails. When you return, there is no question that your bike will be safe and out of the elements.

Amazing 3 floor condo with upgraded living room and kitchen. Was great for 4 adults and 2 kids to spread out. Lots of natural light in the kitchen and living room. Extremely easy access to town (5 minute walk) and River Run (10 minute walk to the base). Mike made the booking, check in and check out processes so easy. Would highly recommend and hope to stay here again!

Loved this Sun Valley Townhouse!

The location of this beautiful townhouse couldn't be better as it is within walking distance to everything. After arriving we were able to park our car and leave it!

The owner is very hospitable and townhouse is the best stocked that I have ever seen. My family and I absolutely loved our stay there and I can highly recommend it!!!

What an AMAZING experience! This property was in the perfect location, walking distance to everywhere in town and a short driving distance to all recreational activities. It was in a quiet peaceful area with lots of privacy and easy parking. It felt like home the minute we walked in, tastefully furnished, well stocked, comfortable (great beds), extremely clean and well maintained. The layout was perfect, from a comfortable space to socialize in by the kitchen/living room area, to privacy in the bedroom area and a game area in the garage. The pictures and description of the property were accurate and I actually think the property was even better than described. There were games, magazines (great variety, sports and area activities), informational notebook for area restaurants, activities, and explanations on how to use the equipment. We were visiting for a mountain meadow wedding and it was my first time in Sun Valley. I can't wait to go back again in the summer for some rafting, hiking and horseback riding and in the winter for skiing and winter activities. This would definitely be the place I would stay. Michael (the owner) was extremely prompt in responding to my messages and very warm and welcoming in answering all of my questions. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and family, hummm, maybe not, I don't want it to be booked up next time I want to stay here. Michael, thank you so much for sharing your property with us, it certainly helped me to fall in love with Sun Valley!

Great downtown and ski area proximity!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was so close to the downtown and ski area that we went to for hiking and activities. It was also very close to the pathway that we used to ride our bikes. The garage was really nice to use for our bikes and hiking shoes. The living space/area of the condo is really nice with the kitchen and family room area. We spent most of our time in this area when we were home. I feel the closeness to all the activities really does make this a place to stay. We really did not drive anywhere during our 3 day stay. This made our trip much more relaxing being on foot or bike. We would recommend this to those who like this style of vacation. Thanks for a great stay.
