About Kirsten Dietert
This home has a special place in my heart - it was my mom's home (who now is living happily in assisted living). We live in New Braunfels in close proximity to this rental. I grew up in New Braunfels and my boyfriend grew up in Rosenberg, TX. We have 3 children between the two of us. Our blended family loves spending time together and traveling. Wherever we go we try to find ideas to incorporate into our rental that would make a getaway more comfortable or add to your experience.
Why Kirsten Dietert chose New Braunfels
This our first en devour into sharing our special place with you - We have tried to provide all the comforts of home but may have missed a few things! Please feel free to let us know as we would love for you to return for many years to come.
What makes this House unique
Located in a small, safe neighborhood on a cul-de-sac with easy access to I-35 and centrally located between San Antonio and Austin. We love the cozy feel of this home with the huge stone fireplace in the living room and cathedral wood plank ceiling.

This is a beautiful home. There were only two of us so we only used the first floor living spaces. We loved cooking in the fully equipped country kitchen. The house is very close to the fun town of Gruene. Our only critique would be that there were a few light bulbs out in the house.
Absolutely beautiful! The pictures do not do this house justice.
The house was the perfect size for my family. It was in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with stores down the road. The house had everything I needed for a comfortable vacation!!
Home was very comfortable and quiet. Close to shopping but still secluded. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering a nice get away.
Nice comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood
Relaxing long weekend. Especially enjoyed the huge fireplace
Clean and cozy!!!
This was the perfect place to stay for our annual family girls shopping trip! It was clean, comfortable, and plenty of room to spread out! Thank you!
awesome little place
The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because there are a couple of things I hope can be improved for the next visitor, and us in the future. The location is great, the neighborhood is quiet, and the house is comfy. The owner hung bird feeders full of seed at our request. The birds will find them soon I'm sure! There already is a family of wrens fighting over it, but not eating it yet. The kitchen was where we spent most of our time. Love the little accents of German Texan culture around everywhere. The slate roofing tile hanging next to the sink for instance. Shaded parking with all the trees around, bright open windows letting in the natural light, and the metal roof at night when it rains, ahhhh :D Didn't use the oven or dishwasher (we wash by hand) but micro and stove are great. Shower downstairs is awesome. Shower upstairs is just like the showers in Europe, so made it nice for us! Overall good, and recommended, but we hope we'll be first in line for this time of year again next year!
