I used to be a computer geek, studied at UCLA, my brother Gus used to be an apartment saleman. Now Gus and I are managing the apartment hosting guests from all over the world.
Guglielmo (William) purchased this apartment in 2010
The apartment is very close to a subway station (Re di Roma), so it's easy to reach main city attractions like the Colosseum or Vatican. There are many shops in the area and the famous king of tiramisu POMPI.
Our family of four stayed in the property for four nights. Will and his wife were very welcoming and even arranged a taxi from the airport for us which worked very well. The property was exactly as described. Very clean, lots of extras and amenities including Netflix and coffee machine. It felt like home. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
We didn't stay here very long, but our stay was very comfortable. This apartment was large and full of amenities. The owners were very nice people who were very helpful and kept in great contact during the weeks leading up to our trip. I'm only sorry we couldn't stay here longer!
We were two retired couples touring Italy and found this wonderful apartment with two bedrooms and both with separate bathrooms. Very clean and modern with all conveniences. On fourth floor with lift. Includes AC and WIFI. We arrived by air and Will arranged transit from airport to the apartment by our request on a van for 65 euros. We were considering train and subway, but after an overnight flight thought Van was right choice.
Some might view this location out of tourist area and ignore. However, Rome subway system is great and convenient access from apartment makes it an excellent choice. Loved location. Outstanding and great service by owners.
When we arrived the host were here to welcome us and show us around the apartment. Gave us recommendations about the neighborhood and modes of transportation around Rome.
Exceptionally clean apartment with all appliances in good condition.
Highly recommend this vacation home
My daughter and I recently stayed at this spacious apartment on first stop in Italy. Will, the owner, and his wife, Dany were very helpful and communicative. They met us at the apartment after we had spent a long day traveling and they were happy to accommodate our early arrival which was awesome because we were exhausted. The apartment was exactly as pictured, both extremely comfortable and clean. The decor is somewhat eclectic (as pictured), but this adds to its charm. The living room was cozy with a large LG TV that has a computer connected to it with Netflix, Skype, links to recommendations, etc. The kitchen was equipped with dishwasher, microwave and washing machine, all easy to use. (There was a binder with instructions containing detailed recommendations on how to use everything.) They even had a espresso maker with a generous choice of Nespresso pods which we enjoyed each morning. All the rooms have their own AC units, a must in the summer! (We had an issue with one of the shower heads and Will had it replaced while we were out. He was easy to reach and very attentive.) Another nice touch was a shelf full of travel books and maps on Rome and Italy. They thought of everything. On the day of our departure, Dany came to meet us and helped arrange a taxi which was a relief as they are sporadic in that neighborhood.
The Re di Roma metro is a few blocks away and there's a grocery store across the street. The location is further from "central Rome" than I had hoped, but that is my fault for not mapping it better. That said, you can reach all the popular destinations by cab in 15 minutes, a bit more by metro. My only complaint would be the bedding, but this may be an issue of personal preference as I like a comforter or duvet and the beds have only very thin bedspreads. Also, the mattresses and pillows are definitely very firm which may be an Italian thing. (Perhaps I am being to nitpicky?)
Overall, I would highly recommend this property. It felt like a home away from home and was our comfy sanctuary at the end of long, hot days spent in the city...the upside of being away from the attractions was peace and quiet. My daughter and I look forward to returning. Ciao!
The 2 BR 2 bath apt was fabulous. This was located at the 4th floor, accessible by a stairway or the lift. It was clean, spacious, beds and sofa were comfortable. Reviews were right, 5 minute walk to metro, Re di Roma, to the supermarket where you can get meat, fish, fresh vegetables. The apt. was also close to the restaurants and small shops, fruit vendor next door. I always texted Will even before we got there and he responded right away. He arranged for a van to pick us up from the airport as we had 4 big suitcases. Miryam was very helpful and could be reached by email and responded quickly too. Internet was awesome! We were able to do laundry and cooked dinners (they even had different spices available for you to use). Can't say anything bad except our 5 day vacation in Rome had to end. Will surely go back to the same apartment if given the chance. Thank you Will and Miryam!
