Stylish, refurbished apartment just 300 metres away from Trastevere Avenue, in the heart of Rome. Extremely comfortable and peaceful. Excellently connected to all parts of the city. All amenities and conveniences included (LCD TV set, DVD reader, a/c electric rolling shutters, steam iron, hair dryer and a very well-equipped kitchen: microwave oven, washing machine, bread toaster, oven, American coffee machine, fridge freezer, etc.).
Excellent public transport connections: from Fiumicino Airport take the train (26 minutes) to Trastevere Railway Station and then a 3 minute-walk will lead you to the apartment. From the bus stop situated in front of the building it only takes a 5 minute bus ride to reach the centre of Rome (Piazza Venezia). From Trastevere Railway Station it takes 10 minutes by train to get to the Saint Peter’s Station.
The famous Porta Portese market (open every Sunday morning) is located within 2 minutes walking distance from the apartment.
Very friendly nice apartment. With a very pleasant little things that help every day. My family spent a wonderful vacation in Rome.
I definitely recommend this apartment.

We had a great stay at this apartment! Luca was very helpful and can get to apartment within 10/15 minutes if you need anything. He was nice enough to meet us early upon our arrival. The train station was a few blocks away and the bus is right outside the apartment to reach the center of Rome. We never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a bus at this stop. The apartment is stocked with everything you need, including some DVDs in English. There is a supermarket around the corner. We enjoyed cooking a couple meals in the room and relaxing with a DVD at night. The room and bathroom were clean. The toilet kept running when we first arrived and Luca came over right away to fix it. We had no other problems. It was a great place to stay for a great price. We would stay here again. Thanks for everything Luca!
We reserved a stay here for 6 nights, however didn't stay the whole time and shelled out more money to stay elsewhere in Italy due to the lack of cleanliness of this apartment, and our disappointment in the city. It was definitely not a comfortable place to spend any time in. The floors were filthy with dust and hair (not ours). Immediately after our arrival we sat down on the bed only to discover how dirty our feet were just from the walk from the door to the bed. The shower was disgusting. Mold/mildew/lime, etc between every tile, and the floor looked like it was a host to millions of exotic diseases. We had to go out and buy flip-flops to take a shower. The bedding was insufficient and uncomfortable, also with hairs on it which were not ours. My husband actually slept fully clothed with a hooded sweatshirt so none of his skin would touch the bed. The toilet also took a lot of coercing to get it to flush properly. In addition, don't expect any sort of confirmation or any documentation from the owner, Luca. The whole time from when we reserved the apartment until we arrived we were worried that we were being scammed, and would be stranded without a place to stay. On a related note, when we emailed Luca the day before our arrival to make sure we were still confirmed, and to get information on how to meet, he informed us he was not in Italy, and that his parents that do not speak English would meet us at the apartment. Still no information on how to contact them or meet them, etc. It turned out alright though, and we met his parents, and they were very nice, however a little information, and maybe some sort of written confirmation will go a LONG WAY to reassure your customers. The neighborhood was not the greatest. Every night that we did stay there, were were woken up in the middle of the night with noises that sounded either like football hooligans chanting or some sort of protest.
My daughters, another young friend and I stayed here recently while we visited Rome. The apartment was perfect for the four of us. We had easy access to several buses that stopped just outside of the apartment, as well as the Trastevere train station, the No. 8 tram and many other buses that were a short walk away. A well-stocked grocery store was just around the corner, and the gelato place just down the street got our business most nights. It felt like a very safe area, and we didn't hesitate to walk around in the evenings.
The apartment felt spacious, even with all of the beds down, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a few ice trays and a small clothes washer. We all enjoyed having a laptop and wifi in the apartment--it made it easy to connect with the family we had left at home.
Luca was very communicative during the months and weeks before our trip. He answered all of our questions promptly and thoroughly. When I asked him if the building had an elevator after I broke my ankle two weeks before our trip (yes, it does, but the apartment is also only one floor up), he arranged to pick us up from the airport. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.
Lovely and well equipped flat near the Trastevere station in Rome. Location-wise, very good. Don't let the area put you off as once you get to work out your bearing it is 15 min by bus to the very centre of Rome. Near the train station it might look a bit tacky, but the street itself where the apartment is located is fine-full of nice shop and a lovely gelato.
The apartment has everything you need to cook a full meal for the family. There are some essentials like sugar, salt and pepper in the cupboard. Large supermarkets are nearby- you will find everything there.
Comfortable bed and bathroom. Nothing to complain at all.
The apartment just looks like in the photo and the hosts are very helpful (in our case, it was the owners' parents which are so adorable and lovely to show us everything we need)
Will not hesitate to stay here again if you could return to Rome
In the heart of Rome (300m from Trastevere Avenue and only 5 minutes from Venezia Square, Campidoglio, etc.
