Immaculate 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom ground floor flat with terrace in a great area.
If you feel like exploring London or visiting friends or relatives, or even over for a business trip and don't want to leave your family behind we offer an amazing alternative to packing your bags and staying in a sterile poorly equipped hotel.
Dalyell Road is nestled between three popular spots comprising Clapham, Brixton and Stockwell and is within 5 minutes of the subway/tube stations. Very good transport links to Victoria Station and Central London.
It is ideally situated for a family, friends or a couple who wants to enjoy the space of this well appointed flat and want easy access to all the tourist attractions.
When the tourist trail proves too much, you will find you are only a five minute walk from the cosmopolitan Clapham High Street with it's amazing array of bars and restaurants. Not to mention the 108 acre Clapham Common.
If that's not enough, at the end of the day you can relax in the beautifully appointed and converted two bedroom flat complete with its own terrace.

Spacious, but too many "little things" that were issues.
The place is spacious. We were 2 adult women traveling together - so it was nice to have separate bathrooms and bedrooms with a shared common space that was large. The distance to the Stockwell Underground stop - about 1/2 mile - was not too long of a walk, and - as women - we felt safe walking through day or night.
There were just too many little things that didn't go right, however, for me to be able to recommend this place to a friend and/or stay here again myself.
+ We were left with 2 partial rolls of toilet paper for 2 bathrooms. Once we realized this - 2 days into our stay - we emailed the managers which resulted in a 24 hour back-and-forth about how they provided us 6 full rolls and they won't give us anymore. Then - once they communicated among themselves - they realized that their cleaner had run out of paper, did not leave any, and the person who was supposed to drop some off before we arrived didn't. This was unnecessary, and quite honestly a rude back-and-forth that was mildly offensive.
+Their ad/listing states they have a clothes dryer. They don't. They have a clothes drying rack. So if you're planning to pack light and do laundry there... be prepared to have 2 days for your clothes to dry... BTW - this is also something the manager corrected me on - stating that they listed a clothes "airer" - not a dryer. But that's simply not true. I double checked today and it states a clothes dryer. I would have noticed if it had said "airer" before - because I had never heard of such a word and would have reconsidered staying there had I known they only had a drying rack.
+The clothes washer is covered in black mold. The smell of mold/mildew is strong in the front part of the house - the kitchen/dining area. Clearly an issue for anyone with allergies, asthma, or breathing concerns.
+Their heating system is awful. It's impossible to get a normal living temperature. It's either sweltering or freezing.
+The WiFi stinks. It worked about 50% of the time. We would continually have it drop while using it. We also had to reset the router several times.
+Finally - and not necessarily their fault - FOXES. The bedrooms' roofs are flat - no other apts. over them. It is a playground for foxes at night. So, besides them scurrying around over your head ALL NIGHT LONG, they also have a blood-curdling mating call that resembles a woman crying for help. It's horrifying. And insanely disturbing. We were lucky to get 4 hours sleep every night.
Your London flat was perfect! Cozy and very lovely, well-equipped and cared for, and the location was great for us. We really appreciate the extra time you spent answering all our questions and concerns! We had a great time! Thank you!
Nice but a sewer smell that was unbearable ....
My sister and I rented this flat in October 2017. There was a rank sewer smell from a backed up drain that made it impossible to be in the flat. It was naseating. After a heated discussion at 10pm the owner Matt did make arrangements for us to move the next day to a different flat for the remainder of our stay. He originally tried to deny that there was a problem. My request for a refund for the first night was ignored. I would suggest travelers should make other arrangements at a different place to avoid this unpleasant experience.
Matthew was very accommodating. Location is close enough to public transportation to easily get into the city. Great stay!
Good place to stay
I recommend this place. Nice, cosy, well-equipped, great decorated, well located close to the tube, quiet street.
Great place for a quiet vacation
First trip to London. We were very nervous regarding our stay in a vacation rental and 22 Dalyell was exactly as pictured. Its beds are comfortable, furniture and amenities very adequate. Made for a very nice stay.
Tube station is a 10-15 minute walk with 3 small local markets in between making grabbing snacks, water or groceries pretty easy. If we return to London, staying at 22 Dalyell would definitely be a must.
Thank you very much for your kind review and we would be happy to have you stay again.
