Below you will find details about our home, Crown Point Gem located in Crown Point a suburb of Pacific Beach. 

It is important for you to read all details about your property. We highlight everything you need to know about your vacation rental in our listing, through emails, home manuals, in-home signage and phone correspondence. We want our guests to feel prepared, informed and at ease while staying with us. We are always available if you have questions!

Crown Point (Pacific Beach) Beach & Bay Vacation House - 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, sleeps 6-8. Located at the tip of the Crown Point Peninsula, surrounded by water on 3 sides, walking distance to Crown Point Shores (Beach/Park and Recreation area). Boardwalk/Bike path just 2 blocks from the house, enjoy walking, biking or roller blading around Mission Bay, with easy access to Mission Beach and Pacific Beach. SeaWorld is walking distance and the location is centrally located for quick trips to the Zoo, Downtown, Balboa Park, Legoland, and The Safari Park.

Crown Point is one of the most desired areas to live in San Diego. This community always has something going including the annual Power Boat Races, 3 Day Breast Walk, Rock and Roll Marathon, The Crew Classic, Over the Line tournaments, and the Polynesian Festival.

3 Bedrooms: 3 Queen beds

Kitchen: Kitchen has new appliances and is fully equipped to handle large meals. Lots of room for many chefs in this kitchen.

Living room: Large, bright, airy living room, hard wood floors throughout. Working wood fireplace and 60' Plasma HDTV. Expanded cable, Blu-Ray Player, and a extensive library of DVD movies.

2 Bathrooms: Master Bathroom has a separate stand up shower and large tub. Bathroom #2 has a Jacuzzi shower/tub.

Master Bedroom: Huge master bedroom with full bath. Bedroom is over 300 square feet. Gas fireplace, 42' TV and DVD player round out this room. Skylight and windows make this room very bright and inviting. Glass French doors open into the tropical backyard.

Backyard: Large backyard with expansive tropical theme. Outdoor gas firepit, large 36' barbecue with rotisserie, side burners, sink, bar, refrigerator, kegerator, and hot tub are just some of the amenities. Just imagine making dinner outside and then sitting around the fire pit watching the Sea World fireworks!

Use of Beach Cruiser Bicycles, Free WiFi, DVD and Blu Ray players, Flat Screen HDTV(s), BBQ, Full Kitchen, Beach Chairs, Beach Towels, surf and Boogie Boards, Cooler, Inflatable bed(s) for extra guests. Washer and Dryer is on the premises and free to use.

If you have never stayed in a vacation rental before, we are not a hotel, WE ARE BETTER! We offer many of the same luxuries of a hotel with the comfort and space of home to share with your whole family. Our property owners are our friends and we work with each owner to offer a special, specific and ideal environment for guests to experience and enjoy. All of our homes offer similar amenities so you can expect the same experience whenever staying with us.

With that said, we need you to do your part in helping us maintain each home. Please be attentive to ALL RESPONSIBILITIES as a guest of our home. Trash/Recycling, Check-out duties, Communication to management and Care of the home all help us give each guest and family a home to feel at home in. We appreciate your assistance in making our homes and business unlike any other!

We like our guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive! We provide a ‘starter kit’ to help our guests get settled without needing to rush off to the store.

Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, linens, towels, kitchen sponges, dish soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher soap when applicable, trash bags, either Keurig coffee makers with k-cups or standard coffee makers, extra blankets, sometimes extra pillows, extra sheets-for sleeper sofas, hair dryers, ironing boards, kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with some extra settings, toasters, some waffle makers, blenders, tool kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, co2/fire detectors, and most homes have heat available. 

While on vacation, we want our guests to enjoy their vacation to the fullest and we feel in order for our guests to do this, they should also feel informed. Our emails serve to educate you on your vacation rental home, the surrounding area, responsibilities, what to expect and how to get in touch with us. We respect your privacy so our emails help provide you with all you need to know to reference as you please. 

In addition, most of our properties have House Manuals detailing specific information about the property, amenities and responsibilities. Not to mention an awesome section on attractions, events, restaurants and more to help guide you during your stay in San Diego!

Ideally located for SD fun in the sun!

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend in this comfortable house. We were seeking comfortable home at a reasonable price and Crown Point delivered exactly that. The beds and living quarters were great, the backyard was a highlight. The home is located only a 3-block walk to the beach and very central to Gaslamp, etc.

As mentioned in the property description, there is a very noise sensitive neighbor - who called the cops to complain about our noise level. We are five adult women and it was the middle of the day! Property manager Greg - checked in with us and assured us we had done nothing wrong.

All in all, Crown Point was a great home, perfect for our needs.

Great stay in San Diego

Great property, close to many beaches and attractions! Nice touches with the welcome on the chalk board and snacks. Loved the back yard with spa and firepit. However, back room smelled of smoke and stuck to some luggage as I kept getting wiffs as I unpacked, no one in our group smokes. Shower curtain in main bathroom kept falling. Couldn't get tv working but wasn't there for that anyway. Overall good stay!

Beware!

My (2) adult daughters, 5 month old granddaughter, and I met in San Diego for a quick weekend getaway. By the reviews, and previous VRBO experience, we felt this was a good choice. Unfortunately, upon arriving and opening the door, there was a bad odor. Upon further review of the property, it became clear that this home was not clean (odor, stickiness all around, multiple stains on sofa and love seat, thermostat cover hanging off and the control panel very sticky & dirty, stained rug in main bedroom, etc.) and became concerned. We checked out the backyard, lifting the cover of the hot tub. I sat on the outside corner of the tub to see it better, since the water color did not look quite right, and we all then realized the strong smell of bleach - also realizing later that my $179 jeans were now bleached on the back end, rendering them ruined! There was no way we felt comfortable with this rental. I eventually was able to get ahold of the owner to explain that we could not stay here, for the above reasons. While he initially was a bit challenging to my concerns, he did agree to fully refund us so that we could locate other accommodations. He then offered another property across the street, so we viewed that property, which was very clean and well maintained (except for the hot tub sprays that sprayed water out into the air - just not meant to have a hot tub!). We agreed to stay there, but just needed to carry the crib across the very busy street, which drew some funny comments from passers-by. At least we could get on with our short vacation. I did follow-up and make inquiry regarding consideration for my ruined jeans, without response (Pacific Coast handled the rental, and we would not recommend them as well). I don't know where the previous reviews came from, but I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND to AVOID this rental. There are so many other options available that will provide a much better experience.

Great location, awesome patio, and great amenities!

Loved the back yard! It was a great spot to have an afternoon barbecue. Besides that, the accommodations were great for a rather large group (8 people), and not overly cramped. There were a a lot of small conveniences, such as cooking supplies and plenty of plates & utensils. The fire pit and Jacuzzi were big hits in the evening. The location also had some bikes with locks that were handy for getting around the neighborhood.

This is a great spot, and is a very quick ride from the airport. It was also very closely located to Mission Beach & Pacific Beach (5-10 minute drive). Would highly recommend.

Backyard paradise!!

This vacation home has one of the best backyards we have stayed at. We enjoyed the fire pit every evening. The outside kitchen was also a bonus. We cooked all of our meals out there including breakfast. The evenings were cool so the spa was also a big hit. Ashley made our trip very enjoyable. From the welcome basket, to calling and checking on us to see if we needed anything else. Thank you for a wonderful week!!

Overall it was a great place to stay. Close to both Sail Bay and Mussion Beach. K

Backyard is an awesome space. We spent every evening enjoying the outdoor kitchen and gas fire area.Traffic in front of the house is extremely busy and loud 24/7 with excessive speeding. Kitchen is well stocked. Bring your own beach towels as we needed to use bath towels for bathing and the beach. The laundry room was a huge help with this. Shopping is close by.
