The Guest House is perfect for 2 people or a couple with 2 children under age 12. Children under 12 stay free!
The Guest House provides all that you need for a perfect vacation in the Sierra Foothills. Prepare your own meals in the privacy of your fully equipped kitchen, enjoy the dining area with table and 6 chairs or eat on the deck, watch a movie or some television from the sofa-bed couch in the living room or enjoy a beverage and the scenic view from the spacious deck. Revive yourself with a blissful night’s sleep in your plush queen size bed complete with down comforter and pressed cotton linens. Relish the views of the trees from all the windows. Wireless internet access keeps you connected.
We hope you will enjoy the peaceful forest views from every room and the deck. The living room and dining area are spacious, as is the bedroom. Both the bed in the bedroom and the sofa bed in the living room are queen size. Pressed 400 thread-count sheets are provided as well as hotel-quality towels. The bathroom has separate rooms for the vanity area and the shower/toilet. A hair dryer, iron, and ironing board help you prepare for the day. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glasses, flatware, cookware and small appliances. Organic soaps, shampoo, conditioner and other amenities are included.
The large deck has a table and 4 chairs and a gas Bar-B-Q for outdoor dining. Enjoy the view of the upper pond or take your book and drink and enjoy the outdoors in a comfy chair on the deck of the lower pond, a short walk from the Guest House. Perfect for napping, reading, sun-bathing, or meditation.

About the owner: This property was originally purchased in 1980 as a weekend retreat from our hectic lives in the Bay Area. The Guest House was built in 1991.
Why the Owner Chose Nevada City, California, United States of America:
We love this area for so many reasons. Our property is secluded and provides a private oasis away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Yet, it is a quick 12 minute drive to Nevada City or a 15 minute drive to Grass Valley for fun shopping, great dining, live theater, wonderful musical performances, and a first-class community food coop with healthy offerings – to supplement what is not available at the summer farmer’s markets! We are honored to be able to share the joys of this area with our guests.
