Your private, 7th floor balcony can be accessed from the living area and has great patio furniture - it is truly the perfect place to enjoy breakfast or time with friends. The kitchen is fully stocked - you will find everything you need to feel perfectly at home and make dinner for those nights spent in your condo. There is even a washer and dryer for your utmost convenience. The dining area has a beautiful glass top table big enough for six. The master bedroom is fantastic with its luxury king size bed and wall to wall windows with amazing beach view. The guest bedroom has two twin size beds, while the sectional sofa in the living room converts to a queen size bed. This unit can comfortably sleep six people.

Our condo was beautiful and very clean as is the property. The pool is a good size and also very clean. Loved the easy access to the beach along with the chair and umbrella rentals. The beach and water were beautiful! Best vacation my family has had. We will definitely be back!

This condo exceeded our expectations! Pictures do not do it justice. Furnishings were excellent! Loved having the amenities of the resort. The only negative to our stay here was the beach was so crowded and the resort put out so many chairs, which made it very difficult to set up a family on the beach. It had been 20 years since we had visited this area and had no idea it would it would be so crowded and take an hour to drive 10 miles for dinner. With all that said, the water, beach and condo was beautiful. Would really love to visit again, but maybe in the fall.

Owner's Response: We are so excited that you all loved the newly remodeled Beachside II 4275!! It's a true gem! Unfortunately, a busy beach is customary for June - August in Destin, FL. All of our beaches along the coast (even down to PCB and Westwards) have beach chair rentals that seem to have "taken over." The good thing though is that normally, if you get out there early, you can setup shop wherever you like! We have seen many people get front row. GBR has nothing to do with those vendors, but maybe it's worth the tip for next time. The fall season on the Emerald Coast is absolutely spectacular! We do hope you come again to experience it.

Overall we had a pleasant experience. Our room was nice and had all of the amenities it promised. However, when we went to book a tee time for a round of golf we were told we had to wait in line behind owners--just wish this was explained better at the time of booking. Also the beach in front of our condo was crazy crowded, and for that reason we'll probably try to find something less populated the next time. With that being said--it was the week of July 4th. However, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to friends.

Owner's Response: We are so sorry to hear this happened! Waiting behind owners is not customary at all and we think was a misunderstanding with the golf course. Xplorie has assured us it is not standard procedure at all for a guest to have to wait past their tee time to play. Xplorie is also trying to reach out to you to extend some extras for your next stay as an apology for this experience. Unfortunately, a busy beach is customary for June - August in Destin, FL; but we're so glad you did enjoy your time here. Thanks for your honest response, we appreciate your thoughts and hope you'll give us another shot for a fun, relaxed vacation.

The condo provided plenty of space for the two of us. The views were lovely and the balcony was very nice. Based upon our last two years of renting other condos I would say this particular unit needs some TLC. The kitchen is outdated. The carpet needs replacing. The sofa isn't as comfortable as it looks. My husband loved the recliner. Most of the light switches didn't work so you had to turn on lights manually. The cable for the TV was quite laborious compared to previous units we've stayed in. There was a lot of drawer space which we appreciated. However...there were only 4 hangers in the two closets. Considering people go out to dinner and want to dress appropriately, that was disappointing. I also feel that if I had a condo on a beach I would provide bedding that is conducive to the weather. The bedding on the master bedroom was pretty but VERY heavy. We took it all off and were thankful for the extra blanket in the closet. The other thing this unit lacked which may or may not be important to other guests is a binder of local information. Our previous units had that and it was very welcoming. If you're not familiar with the area its helpful to have restaurant and event recommendations. Other important numbers and such is appreciated. Overall...this condo met our basic needs but we would not rent it again.

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are working with the Owner to see if we can get some updating scheduled. We'll also take a look at the lighting. Oftentimes guests may move the light plugins around to fit their needs and certain outlets are wired for the switches. This is normally a pretty easy fix if the unit has the correct electrical wiring! We don't have any Owners who change out spreads based on season as we always keep extra blankets in the closets for our guests who may not want to use the comforter, but we'll definitely get with the Owner this winter to see if he would want to change it to something lighter for all seasons going forward! We are so sorry you missed our guest handbook. These were just pulled this winter to receive a make-over. So much of our area changes (activities and restaurants) that we wanted to give our books more updated, accurate information for our guests. Take a peak in 2016 for these new informative handbooks in all of our properties! Again, we are thankful for your business and hope to have you return so we can work to rebuild your satisfaction and trust - we have a lot of gorgeous properties we'd love to show you!

The property was beautiful, the location superb, the sectional couch is very old with springs coming through which need replaced. The king bed mattress is old with springs on the right side coming through which needs replaced. I have stayed in this unit in 2001 I believe, and the same furniture is there now as then and needs updated. The silverware only had four spoons and six forks . Since there were only two of us it was OK but not for a large group. I love this unit and would book again due to the location of the elevator, view etc. but hope some updates occur soon before I return next year.
