Fell in Love with this house, bought it, renovated and decorated it tastefully 2011/2012.
This summer 2012 is the first summer the villa was available for rent.
Rudolph Seiberlich purchased this chateau / country house in 2006
Residence L'Abreuvette is the original name of this villa is in the department of Var - the heart of the wonderful Provence, only 25 miles from St. Tropez and just midway between the airports of Nice and Marseille.
I have looked at many houses but this one cached my heart.
It was originally build in 1975 build in an old Mas style (Country House). All rooms are well proportioned and the kitchen is big and full of light. The many trees in the garden are of course all old and big and the quiet river Argens invites one to take a peaceful canoe ride.
Had a wonderful time at the villa. Lovely, quiet setting in a newly decorated luxurious, very well equipped villa. Really enjoyed the garden with the vines, plum tree, fig tree, boules pit and plenty space for the kids to run around. Our eldest daughter was very impressed with the lilly pads at the front of the house. The heated pool was a great hit, the kids jumping in it early in the morning. The villa is very close to the A8 motorway, exit Le luc, making it very easy to get around. The villages -Le Thoronet and Lorgues are 2-5 min drive with supermarkets, restraurants, local market (Tue- Lorgues). Had a great time and would definitely love to go back.
We have been staying at this house for a month in February-March 2012 and we liked it very much. It is a beautiful house with lots of space and well equipped. The site is beautifully situated on the river Argens with nice walking tracks along the river banks..The surrounding larger area is very interesting with vineyards, villages with local markets, abbeys (e.g. Le Thronet Abbey) and it is also rather close to the Mediterranean. We would be happy to return to this house.

It was a pleasant experience. Much better than it looked in the advertisment!
Near the oldest Monastery of France, Abbaye du Thoronet, in the heart of the department Var. Only 30 miles from Saint Tropez. The villa is in a quiet residential area with only a few houses in a dead end street.
