This is a lovely, cozy cabin with a very nice outdoor space.
We had a great time! The property was lovely, the host friendly. My pup particularly enjoyed the big yard :)
Great property. Great location.
Spent the weekend while attending the Formula 1 race ar COTA. The property was convenient to the track and Bastrop. Cabin was cozy and had all the comforts of home. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend ans would stay again.
It was a real pleasure having Carson and his family as guests. They left the cabin clean and tidy and we highly recommend them to other hosts. They would be more than welcome to stay again.
Nice setup with most everything you would need like coffee, etc..
Will stay here again next time I come this way.
Thanks for your review Steve. It was a pleasure having you and your golfing friends as guests. Not sure why we did not warrant 5 stars.
It was a fine cabin, the yard was nice and the location was good. The big issue for us was the television, internet and cooling situation. We were unable to stay cool with the small window units. We left early due to temperatures in the cabin.
Cozy, rural retreat with roadrunners and peacocks!!
Snug, little knotty pine cabin with many homey touches. Roomy upstairs with space for kids. Downstairs is small. If you want to entertain a large group, plan to go outside. Small tv okay for us. AC units keep the place comfortable. If it had been warmer than the 78 degrees, we might have been warmish during the day inside. No sofa but nice furniture on porch. Big laundry area might be a good spot to spread out but not air conditioned. Great couple hosted our stay.
We might go back when it gets cooler. I'm not comfortable sleeping in a warmish house. If you need sharp knives for cooking, take yours along. We couldn't find any. Otherwise the kitchen is nicely equipped, although dated, with electric cooktop and wall oven. Not tons of countertop area. Again, great spot for a couple or two or a family of four. Huge yard and plenty of room to run or walk the country roads. Enjoyed it!
We do have air conditioning however it is one window unit upstairs and one downstairs. There are also ceiling fans 2 upstairs and three downstairs. There is also a microwave in the kitchen. Enjoyed having Lee and Roger and there two dogs stay. They are more than welcome to stay again.
Enjoyable with lots of privacy!!
The owners are considerate & helpful!!
Why did we only get 3 stars, Joan?
