Great place for the family.

  • 4 of 5

We found this place to be extremely well set-up. We were particularly impressed with the kitchen utensils and appliances. It was also very clean. While it wasn't the closest to all the festivities, we still managed to keep our vehicles parked for the week - even with young children (7 &9) and walked around to/from all the fun. Note there is a VERY handy shuttle service at Silver Star.

Why I didn't rate it with 5 stars is because:

1) The hot tub was off one of the bedrooms. I am not sure if that is the same with most units but for us, it was a bit inconvenient because, in order for everyone to enjoy the hot tub, it mean that someone's personal room was made public.

2) It did not have ski in/ski out. It was VERY easy to get to the slopes, or trails (for Xcountry skiing) but coming home meant walking up a hill after skiing all day. For those of us with lower stamina, that was a bit challenging :-) The shuttle to the bottom of the hill was great, though.

Wonderful Stay.

  • 5 of 5

We were staying with friends before going to the Monashees, we really enjoyed the house, the proximity to the trails, the shuttle and the quaint little village at the base of the mountain.

Beautiful home, beautiful view!

  • 5 of 5

Although this home is a little further from the village, you can still ski out easily. We drove our car into the parking lot a few times. It was worth it. It is a beautiful home, a very lovely functional kitchen that is open with the living room and dining area. It was very well equipped with great appliances. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated. The master and ensuite were gorgeous with it's own gas fireplace, very romantic!

What a View, Beautiful.

  • 5 of 5

What a beautiful home. For the same price as a hotel room, we had an amazing, well furnished and stocked home.

The kitchen was so well equipped; appliances, spices, tea, a barbeque, fantastic. We hosted many dinners that week, and never were wanting for space or dishes etc. The master bedroom was a treat. The steam shower was my favorite, heated floor in the ensuite, tub with three windows. My wife and I loved having or morning coffee in bed, looking out at the mountains, gorgeous. The lady looking after the house mailed our phone charger to us two days after we left. Boot and glove driers, I could go on. Loved it.

Nice Place Close to the Ski Runs.

  • 4 of 5

This house is very well equipped, particularly the kitchen. The master suite is huge, a nice spot to get away for a bit of quiet, although the open concept ensuite/bedroom was weird. Our family of 4 (2 adult children) found the house to be spacious and clean. Although the hot tub was accessed through the 3rd bedroom, it was not really awkward, and the hot tub was big with good lighting and jets. The views from the house are very nice. It is a bit of a trek to get back to after skiing, so taking the frequent shuttle from the village is my recommendation. We skied to the village around lunchtime, hopped on the shuttle, and took a 2 min ride to the end of the lane. Ski-out is a very easy walk from the house. Our rental car was unable to make the steep laneway - beware, have snow tires or 4 wheel drive.

Very happy with the stay on the Knoll

  • 4 of 5

Myself and 3 friends went and rode Mtn bikes at Silver Star for 2 days and could not have been happier with the house. The garage was a great touch for the bikes and the gear and the rest of the house was very clean and very nice. We cooked one breakfast and one supper while there and there is tons of appliances and everything else you would ever need.
