Talisker's spacious, well equipped, open plan kitchen (with CD player) and dining room lead to the 30sq mtr lounge with large windows and patio doors which look directly on to the forest over the heather laden garden which also has a pond. The lounge features leather sofas and a Swedish log burning stove. Wi fi and an Ipod BOSE docking system are also in the lounge Also overlooking the forest is a twin bedded room with large family bathroom opposite, and the en suite King master bedroom. To the front is a further en suite double bedroom. The house has recently been extensively upgraded with new central heating and a 250 litre boiler giving unlimited hot water for showers and warmth in the colder weather.

Great place for nature lovers and cyclists!
We were lucky enough to book the lodge at short notice due to a cancellation. Angus was very helpful and always responded to our e-mails very quickly. We loved the house, very clean and tidy with a large sitting room looking straight out into woodlands. We saw lots of squirrels and birds at the feeders.
We are an active family of 4 and loved being able to cycle around the excellent cycle routes and into Rothiemurchus and Aviemore. Loch Morlich is beautiful and great for water sports and there are lots of mountains to climb - I can't think of a better destination.
Offering stunning, secluded access to Rothiemurchus Eastate in the Cairngorm National Park, this property is located less than 5 minutes by car from the centre of Aviemore and is quietly tucked away behind Pinewood Cottage approximately 100 metres up a quiet lane running from the main Cairngorm ski road at Inverdrurie to Tulluchgrue and Blackpark. Although secluded, with stunning forest views to the rear, just minutes away are the farm shop, mountain bike hire and two restaurants. The forest garden to the rear allows direct access by foot to Loch an Eilean and beyond. For mountain bikers all the Rothiemurchus Estate trails are accessed from the front of the house. Additional information about rental rates
Deposit required £150.00 up to 2 months prior to departure date which will be held as a damage deposit payment, thereafter the full amount should be paid by 2 months prior to the arrival date. After inspection immediately following departure, the deposit with any necessary deductions will be returned promptly. Heating will be charged at 0.67 pence per litre and deducted from the damage depositi. Payment of deposit will be deemed as acceptance of booking conditions which will be forwarded at the time of the initial provisional booking.
