This is one of the finest properties on Lake Whatcom. Located on 2.5 secluded acres, this home offers stunning views up the length of Lake Whatcom. With 240 feet of waterfront and a sturdy year-round dock, this is a home for the water enthusiast. South Lake Whatcom is much quieter and less congested than the North side of the lake. There is no road between this property and the lake, yet there are hundreds of acres of hiking trails just across the street. Built in 1979, this gorgeous, 5,150 square foot home offers plenty of space yet retains the comfortable feel of a cozy cabin. This home is just minutes from the Skagit Valley Casino, Raceway, and Wildwood Resort. Bellingham is 20 minutes away and Mt. Baker (great skiing, snowboarding and hiking) 55 minutes away. There are three bedrooms on the upper floor (3 pillow-top kings) as well as an additional 'library' space with a crib. On the main level, there is an additional bedroom with one twin and one full-sized bed. The lower level has two bunk beds (twin top/full bottom). The lower level also has a full size air-hockey table, a ping-pong table, dart board and large HDTV. ThreeZeroThree-ThreeThreeZero-EightSevenThreeEight, or larsharrisonATyahooDOTCOM. About Lars Harrison
Having grown up on a lake in Minnesota, I find nothing more relaxing than hearing the waves lap against the shore of a lake. The reflection of the sky and mountains on Lake Whatcom are truly a sight to see from this home. I enjoy waterskiing, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and fishing and hope you will have a chance to enjoy such watersports during your visit. I truly want to make your visit an enjoyable one and appreciate all feedback.

Lake Whatcom Retreat
We have visited this home twice for a family retreat with our children/grandkids. Plenty of room to sleep everyone and gather together for meals and bonding time. Wonderful view of the lake and a dock for fishing, swimming etcetera... would love to come back again!!! Lars Harrison is so welcoming and friendly as well as responding quickly to questions or concerns! You can tell when you come more than once that upgrades and repairs are handled in between visits..Thank you Lars for allowing us to use your beautiful home. We hope to return next year!
Annual Cousin Camp at Lake Whatcom
My entire family from 61 years to 2 months had a wonderful time at this Lake Whatcom property. The house is huge, rambling, and a bit odd, but also wonderful. It is positioned at the quieter end of the lake in Sedro Woolley which we loved. Lars gave us all the information we needed and the house had plenty of water toys to explore the lake with. We brought our '61 ChrisCraft and water-skied every morning and evening on water like glass. The deck and the dock gave us multiple ways to enjoy the fantastic views. Our extended family dedicates one week a year to just enjoy each other's company and everyone said this was the best "Cousin Camp" ever.
Well equipped and very clean. Over the years we have rented this house twice and third time just now. This house remains to be a favorite of ours as it accommodates our three generations very well.
Beautiful location ... a little difficult to find in the dark even with the smart phone mapping apps! We really enjoyed the access/ activities on the lake. A few problems with the house appliances, but overall everyone enjoyed the long weekend. Be sure to buy your groceries ahead of time. The unnatural quiet in the evening is because you are far away from traffic.
The most relaxing place on earth!
Our family loved our stay at this beautiful
Lake Whatcome home. Plenty of room for our family reunion and the deck overlooking the water and dock was heavenly with lots of seating. The kayaks and paddle boards were a big hit! Thank you Lars!
This large home is directly on the lake with spectacular views, boat dock & privacy. Ample sleeping space for family gatherings, nice bedding & linens. Owner & housekeeper very obliging! Very hard to find accommodations like this on Lake Whatcom. Kayaks provided, we brought Jetboat & SUPs. Highly recommended! JL, Bellingham
Public boat launch 2 minutes away!
