Hi my name is Christina I have worked independently for 22yrs as a hair stylist in downtown. In my spare time I volunteer with Tuolumne Co. Sheriff's SAR (search and rescue) . I invite you to visit Sonora and see the many reasons why I feel it's a truly lovely community.
Christina Bonetti purchased this bungalow in 1998
In 1980 I moved to Sonora from San Diego Co. Though I missed the ocean and beaches, I quickly fell in love with the beauty and tranquility that Tuolumne Co. offered. I attended the local community college, set up my business and started putting down roots. The next step was a home. When I found my bungalow I feel instantly in love with it. It is the perfect place to come to at the end of the day, be it work or play!
Being downtown is such a treat. Walking to restaurants, wine bars, theater. I am so proud to offer my home as a romantic vacation retreat or family get away. I know you will love to stay here for a long weekend or an extended stay. You'll find plenty to do – or maybe you'd just like breakfast in bed!
Such a warm and comfortable home to spend the weekend in. Fresh flowers and fresh banana bread were such a homey touch and totally unexpected.
Five Stars all the way! Everything about this charming two bedroom cottage was perfect! Very clean, very quaint, very well appointed, well stocked with everything one would need, perfect close-in location, lovely yard, quiet neighborhood! Wow! Such a great get-a-way retreat! I personally loved the books and the antique dishes. Just lovely! I look forward to returning many times. The owner was the perfect host too! Five stars all the way!!!!!
We had an amazing time staying at this bungalow! Its beautifully decorated and thoughtfully setup for a pleasant, relaxed stay. The town is charming and there are many nearby places to visit. We enjoyed going out for short trips and coming back to relax at the cozy house. Christina was very thoughtful and attentive throughout our stay - she turned on the light and heat for us, gave us a loaf of home cooked banana bread as a welcome gift and wished us a safe trip home. We'll be back!
My parents and I rented Christina's house for a fall weekend so that we could explore the Gold Country. We had such a marvelous time! Christina's house is a quaint bungalow that is very tastefully decorated and includes all the amenities one could need for a weekend stay. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had all we needed. We enjoyed watching movies on her large TV in the living room. She even had fresh flowers and homemade banana bread waiting for us upon arrival! Plus, she turned the heat on for us so that we wouldn't arrive to a cold house. Everything about the house and hostess speaks thoughtfulness. We were in a perfect location, too, to walk downtown for dinners and to drive to other quaint towns for exploring. I hope to return to the area, and I will definitely want to stay here again!
Loved this little house. Wish we could have spent more time just hanging out at the house. Full kitchen was very convenient and bedding was comfortable. Great location to all the shops and restaurants on Washington street, as well as the farmers market.
Enjoyed our 4 day stay at this very adorable bungalow! Very comfortable and conveniently located. Would highly recommend this home for anyone wanting a place to stay close to Yosemite area attractions! We visited Yosemite for 2 days as well as the Big Trees at Kings Canyon (this was a bit further drive but very much worth the trip!!). Also ventured to see more Sequoias at the Calaveras State park. Absolutely enjoyed all of nature's offerings in the area. This home was just the right size and location for me and my husband's stay. Had enough space to work when needed (thank you for the Wi-Fi!) and kitchen was nicely appointed. Backyard patio area was very charming and a very nice place for evening relaxation.
