My family had never been to Treasure Island and we dod not know what to expect. It was the best vacation we’ve had in a while. The unit is small but beautiful! The master has a view of the bay and the front has a view of the ocean. It had everything we needed! We will definitely be back!
Loved the location and how close to the beach we were. The views were amazing. I would give it a 5 except for the sleeper sofa. The sofa bed was awful. Springs would not stay on and it felt very unstable. I ended up sleeping on the couch and my adult daughter used the cot mattress and love seat cushions to make a pallet on the floor.
They may want to replace the sofa sleeper and/or mattress for it. We slept well like this but it definitely was a stretch for sleeping 4.
All in all Amazing trip with a great time at the beach.
The unit and location can’t be beat. The owners took care of a broken storm door prior to our arrival. I imagine because there was a storm just before our stay. That was nice.
As previous reviewers mentioned, and the owners really should address this, the blinds in the bedroom do not adequately block out the sun that (brightly) rises on that side of the building. There are no curtains that block out the sun. When people are on vacation, they might want to sleep past 7:30AM.
Itrip was really helpful throughout.
Otherwise, this was a rental well worth the price. Kitchen fully stocked with supplies. The pool was a nice break from the sun and saltwater.
Pros- location, free parking, pool and price
Cons- strong sun in bedroom; can’t sleep in. no ice or water filter in fridge
Got to condo and no blankets - had to go to Walmart and buy blankets for our stay - very disappointing.
Nice unit, disappointed in beach
Nice clean unit. Only disappointment in unit was that the recliner in the pics wasn’t there. FYI.. the building is not coral/pink anymore.... it has been painted white (helps to know when looking for the building). ITrip management was easy to work with. Will go directly through them next time. Beach was definitely not as nice as St. Pete which is kept pristine. Sunset Beach has lots of seaweed on beach so had to be picky about where you set up. But... as views were amazing!!! Lots of great restaurants within 5 miles.
It was just what we were looking for. Beautiful beach setting, condo was well equipped with everything you need. Will return again
