This is a great 3 Bedroom, 2 bath house with beach views, in Bermuda Beach. This is a fisherman's fantasy and a beach-goer's bonanza. The homeowners offer their own blend of unique Texas hospitality and gracious accommodations. Located less than 60 miles south of Houston and 3 miles from the west end of the Seawall. This great home is just seconds away from the beach. It is the perfect place for that family vacation or event, family reunion, or a small wedding or reception. Come share in the panorama and spectacular views of Bermuda Beach, unforgettable sunsets, and the glistening waters of the Gulf of Mexico. You will find upscale furnishings and design throughout this house. The master bedroom suite is the downstairs floor, with a modern spacious master bath. The sun-bathed living, dining and kitchen areas are maximized for space. Just outside is a grand deck that is known as 'Quig's Quarterdeck,' in honor of its owner. It provides lots of breezes, sunshine, and great views of the beach. You will be mesmerized by the sunrises, sunsets, and evening moons at this ideal retreat. We are in a community haven that is quaint, private, and peaceful. Downstairs beneath the house is a picnic table and a constant breeze. HISTORIC GALVESTON is just a short drive along the scenic coastal highway. Extend your cruise (or come early!) and partake of the riches of Galveston Island: Schlitterbahn Water Park, Moody Gardens, The Seawall, downtown Strand, museums, shopping, restaurants, The Grand 1894 Opera House, Mardi Gras in February, the ETC (East-end Theater Company), and numerous year-round cultural experiences.
This house was built by our parents in the 1960's. It was our getaway from Houston. We spent weekends and all summers here. We learned to fish, crab, find shells and sharks' teeth, swim, and surf. There are more memories in this house than can be recorded.

close to the beach; great sunrise and sunset views; overall positive
Great views of the beach from inside and outside the house. The large porch named after our dad, Quig's Quarterdeck. Awesome sunsets! Cozy and comfortable - want to sleep late? No problem, drop the storm shutters.
Unique property, great kitchen and dining room will handle a large family and friends. Two bedrooms and bath upstairs, spiral staircase downstairs to large master bedroom and bath.
Great house, it surpassed all our expectations. Owner was great and friendly, she made our stay easier. This house is definitely worth the ride.
We so enjoyed our stay!!! Our family has been coming to Bermuda Beach for 40 years and love it!! It felt like a home away from home!!!❤️
My family just enjoyed a weekend at this home. We had a wonderful experience. There were 6 adults and 3 children and everyone had a nice comfortable place to sleep. The deck was a great place to have coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. The owners live right next door and were extremely friendly and helpful. The garage is stocked with many great items for a fun day at the beach. My family will definitely stay here again!
The house was perfect for our family. The home was very clean and a short walking distance to a beautiful private beach. We enjoyed the deck and swing for relaxing after our day at the beach. We cooked in the spacious kitchen and were able to use the laundry facilities as well. Joan was more than accommodating for us. We are hoping to come again next summer for another stay!
We stayed for the fourth of july! It is such a family friendly house there were toys inside the house for all the kids, beach toys in the garage. The wagon helped out a ton getting all the toys to the beach! The house is walking distance to the beach and you get a beautiful view of the ocean on the deck! The house was very clean and nice had all the kitchen appliances for cooking and grilling. This house has it all. The owners are very nice people as well I always had an easy time reaching them, if I had any questions at all they were there to help! We look forward to coming back!
This house is on the 'near' west end of Galveston on the third row from the Gulf - nice and quiet, but close enough to town so that you can go there easily if that's what you want to do. Galveston hosts annual Mardi Gras celebrations, Lone Star Biker Rally, Dickens on the Strand, and monthly ArtWalks. Lots to see and do always!
