Perfect cabin for time away!

  • 5 of 5

This home was absolutely beautiful... from the view to the home itself. The owners put a lot of care into this Home and making it cozy. The stocked kitchen was an amazing touch and greatly appreciated as it made our first day easier. The rest of the house was stocked perfectly as well with everything from linens to music and DVDS. It was also nice to be unplugged! I stayed at the cabin with my 6 month old and watched good movies I hadn’t watched in awhile, while my husband and 13 year old skied in nearby massanutten. We were also close enough to have a dinner out one evening. I highly recommend this cabin for time away! Best one we’ve stayed at!

well-appointed home

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was stocked well and while we didn't expect such cold November weather, we enjoyed the area. Carl met us to review the house fully and give us our keys. We enjoyed coming back and watching movies and being unplugged. We especially loved the view from the living room -- the morning sunrise and evening sunsets were lovely.

Amazing views! Wonderfully stocked with essentials you didn't know you needed ❤️

Fabulous weekend rental with absolutely stunning views. This home was so well stocked with everything from fresh eggs and butter to a wide variety of toiletries and medicine cabinet necessities. Fluffy white towels and luxurious bedding made it feel like a nice hotel. The cabin was the perfect size for 4 of us. Small enough to keep it cozy and intimate but high ceilings on the first level and a wall of glass doors opening to the breath taking view kept it feeling airy. It was nicely hidden on the mountainside and being at the end, we never saw another car. This was truly an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. We only wish we had more time to enjoy the river and do some fishing. I'd love to come back in the summer to go tubing. Can't wait to visit again!
