About Diane

We have lived in Florida since the 80's and enjoy opening up our home to visitors and repeat guests. My interests are traveling, helping others, volunteering and enjoying the beautiful Florida beaches.

Diane purchased this condo in 2003

Why Diane chose Treasure Island

Because Treasure Island has less traffic than areas further up the beach and has a nice wide beach where you can watch kite flying, wind surfing and sand sculpting. It is a great town with great restaurants and quick access to downtown St. Pete.

What makes this condo unique

We have a neat, clean, remodeled unit that feels like home and a great balcony to enjoy the beach from or sit on the sofa and enjoy the great view. You could bring your boat here and dock it at our dock, availability permitting but it usually is available and have great restaurants/bars within walking distance and great shopping at John's pass a stone's throw away.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We loved it. Just like home and close to everything. Our new vacation destination from now on.

Great condo!

  • 5 of 5

The view was great without having the ocean front price tag. The condo is well equipped and the layout is done well so it doesn't feel cramped. The beach on that side of the island is less crowded, which we also liked.

Small Condo for 2 with Beach Access

  • 4 of 5

My daughter and I had a wonderful mother daughter vacation in Treasure Island. Diane's condo at the Island was small, but clean and had everything we needed for our stay. I would not recommend it for 4 people, it was just the 2 of us and we barely had room for our luggage etc... since we were not in the room much it worked out. The only suggestion I have is that there were plenty of towels and beach towels but only 2 small wash clothes, and one of them looked pretty old. We ended up buying a few from Walmart. Other than that everything else was fine. We loved the easy acces to the beach and the little bar at the property, the bartender (I forgot her name) was from our hometown Cincinnati Ohio so it was pretty cool Sitting at the bar and chatting with her. Easy check in and easy check out. Everyone at the front desk was helpful and nice. Parking was no problem, even coming in really late a couple of nights we were still able to get a spot, there was also ample parking right across the street if needed.

Beachfront inn in a nice area of Treasure Island. The studio unit was well equipped and had beach/ocean views as well as views of the intracoastal waterway.

Wonderful long weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

Diane (owner) was very helpful and worked with me so that I was able to book her condo last minute. She was also flexible with checkout time since nobody was checking in the same day and I had a newborn with me. I had a wonderful time and would definitely like to go back. The bed & couch were very comfy, shower was hot with good pressure, linens (bedding & towels) were very nice, air conditioning worked very well and the views of the ocean/intercoastal right from the room were lovely. Diane has stocked this condo with everything you could think of and then some. There were beach chairs, a beach umbrella and rain umbrella, beach bags, beach towels and even a small cooler. Although not necessary, I also noticed plenty of extra linens and pillows in the closet. The condo was stocked with plenty of cooking supplies and any flatware or cutlery you might need. Plenty of dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc so a run to the store for condo supplies was not necessary as it is in some units. However, if you need to run to the store a Publix and several dining options are within easy walking distance. I took uber from the Tampa airport ($28) and never needed a vehicle the rest of my trip. The condo building itself is great. There is an awesome poolside bar with drinks, beach supplies, and basic food (pizza, burgers, snacks). There were two sand volleyball courts right out front. There was a very large covered patio area facing the beach but shaded with fans if you wanted a break from the sun. Ice machines (on levels 2 and 4) and vending machines. The heated pool was nice. Pretty much everything you need for an awesome beach getaway in one place. The stretch of beach in front of the area was quiet but still had the amenities of rental chairs and umbrellas if you didn't want to bring them from the condo. There were also places to rent bikes and paddle boards right on the beach in front of the condo. I hope to visit again.
