My family absolutely loved this quaint condo! It was well stocked and clean! Lovely views!

We will definitely be back! Every bedroom has a full bathroom. Also, a full bathroom for all to use! The hot tub was great! Plenty of room to relax! We loved that it was not all made over in modern aesthetics!

Great location close to the mountain.

This is a great location with access to the transit right in the parking lot. The condo had 4 bathrooms which was great when getting ready to hit the mountain. Place was clean and jacuzzi just 10 steps away. I will be booking in the future!

Good to great

  • 3 of 5

The view from the home is amazing and the area is excellent for

hiking and relaxing. The hot tub was wonderful and the grill for BBQ ing was great.

The 15 years worth of Annual Wildflower Posters framed and throughout the home

were amazing.

The house would not be suitable for small children and it

would be best to mention that. Our young ones had to cancel and we

thought that was for the best after all since

there is an upstairs walking area with no railings.

It would be nice to have some outdoor furniture for the two balconies.

We were out hiking a lot so didn't mind sitting inside when we were home.

The queen bed was very soft and the couple used the bunk bed room instead.

The king was firm and had the gorgeous view.

My husband did knick himself badly on the

bed frame that extended 2-3" out from the bed.

The ample towels, pillows and blankets was a nice

The TV s are old and small so for people

who enjoy TV on their vacations (my husband)

it was somewhat disappointing.

I think the price was relative to some

of these disadvantages. We know

CB is expensive and we felt we paid a little less than normal.

CB is beautiful and we hope to return

in the future.

Pretty views, good location, well stocked but run down

  • 4 of 5

The property was well stocked and large enough for our group (six adults and one baby), but could use an update with regard to decor and appliances. The beds were comfortable, but the sofas were broken down, the carpet was dingy, the refrigerator drawer was stuck and master bath toilet handle broke while we were there. Everything seems to be circa 1970's or 1980's.

Also, there were two decks, but no furniture on them.

This property could be great with some updating!

the property wasn't clean, left over food in the refrigerator and storage draws not clean at all.

Floors seemed to be dirty, storage closet haven't been cleaned and long time.

all appliance are very dated, however they do work. kitchen very small, but the rest of the unit layout worked. Carful of the beam head knocker when you go up the stairs to the second floor. a requested from the property manager was to wash a couple of loads of laundry ( towels and sheets ) washer was very dirty I don't know if they truly got clean.

great location! we love CB, we visit a couple of times a year.

Owner's Response: Inevitably sometimes you get someone that you can't please and that was this guest. It started when he got to the property without his pre-stay instructions which had ended up in his junk folder a week prior. Apparently he didn't realize he didn't have them until he was at the property. Once I walked him through how to get in he made mention how it was "always an adventure" renting from our company. That took me aback as this was the first time he had rented from us. When I asked him what he meant he went on to say how he rented from us in Aspen and had all these issues with the property when I said that we didn't work out of Aspen, just Crested Butte. He than yelled at me that I was being untruthful. He than said that he knew where our office was here b/c he'd had another bad experience from us in CB and he mentioned an office on the mountain. Again, I explained... not us. I don't have and have never had an office on the mountain. To say the least things went downhill from there. He texted me pictures of the "food" in the fridge which was 5 bottles of condiments and a few dry goods that we leave in the condo for guest use if they wish. At the end of each season we throw all of this out. We only ask that you start a load of laundry in the washer so that we can keep our cost to you the renter down. We don't ask that you move the wash into the dryer or run multiple loads. To be fair, the condo is a bit dated and the pictures reflect the actual condo. Its clean, its comfortable and its in a great location. We price this accordingly. We pride ourselves on keeping clean properties. My husband and I rent properties as well when we vacation and its not ok to be in a property not thoroughly clean. We get it and I can assure you that that was not the issue here. I'd suggest reading the other reviews here and take this one with a grain of salt.

This condo is located within 1/3 of a mile to the base area of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Snowboarding, skiing, nordic skiing, ice skating, and snowmobiling are just minutes away in the winter. IN the summer, ride straight up the mountain and enjoy some fantastic single track or downhill mountain biking. More single track abounds in the nearby vicinity.
