Locals have inhabited this treasured beachfront haven for generations, but now often rub elbows with celebrities who have discovered its magic and charm. Oceanfront property on the Padaro Beach sand is a valued commodity. Wide and expansive, the beach has limited public access, offering a slower paced experience with miles of coastline to enjoy.
Beachside Bungalow has been well-maintained by exacting owners. Past upgrades guarantee impeccable ambiance in relaxed beach style. The home's interior is fresh and casual, and outfitted fully with every amenity that any seasoned traveler would expect. Freshly whitewashed wood paneling adds a bright and upgraded feel to this already friendly home. Vaulted ceilings of exposed beams add further drama to sun-drenched rooms.
Once a sunny oceanfront porch, the south facing Sunroom with dining table and seating, is enclosed with walls of windows for sheltered enjoyment of the sand and surf. The round dining table is a perfect spot for games, or, setting up a puzzle!
The Living Room offers more windows and a fireplace. For the musically inclined, the piano is a delightful addition to the entertainment options. On this main level, the Master Bedroom with king-size bed features windows with blinds that can be closed off to create more privacy, or, left open to enjoy ocean views.
Step downstairs to find Bedroom #2 with attached full Bathroom. This cute room features a queen-size bed. On this same level, the Kitchen is outfitted nicely with stainless steel appliances, serving pieces, and plenty of glassware and dishes to set a pretty table, indoor or out. The second Bathroom is also on this level with a walk-in shower.
The oceanfront deck is the main attraction of this great home by the sea! With two outdoor dining tables and plenty of seating, there is room for everyone to enjoy leisure activity on the expansive deck, and still keep a close eye on the younger guests playing in the sand! Prepare a tasty meal on the gas grill, and finish with dessert around the fire pit after dinner. Kayaks, paddle boards and Boogie Boards have been provided for guest use - there is no lack of options for fun at this coastal escape!
Within walking distance is Santa Claus Lane, with a lively beach atmosphere, recreation rentals, shops and eclectic eateries. Venture out to the quaint town of Carpinteria, with its surf shops, antique stores and dining establishments. Montecito is just 5 minutes away, and downtown Santa Barbara is only a 15-minute drive, where coastal attractions like Stearn's Wharf, the Harbor area and the ocean- front bike path on Cabrillo Blvd offer adventure. There is so much to see and do nearby.
