About Stacy Foster
Growing up in Western Mass, I vacationed with my best friend and her family in Harwich for many summers. I always loved the way the Cape seemed cozy and felt just like home. After I graduated from Boston College I moved here "for the summer" with my friends to work and have fun. Needless to say, I stayed! There is something about the salt air and having the beach easily accessible that would draw someone in to stay for good....well that and marrying a man who grew up here! My husband grew up in Provincetown and enjoys this end of the Cape. We recently made East Orleans our home. We love the idea of feeling secluded, while at the same time being close to everything. Sandy kitchen and living room floors have become our norm, and we would not have it any other way! We hope you enjoy the Cape as much as we do!

Why Stacy Foster chose Eastham
When we were looking for a rental property we narrowed our ideals down to one simple thing... we wanted to find somewhere we would want to rent if we were vacationing. 15 Ellis is so quaint, rich with history, and more importantly close to everything! The access to Town Cove sealed the deal for us. Between being close to the water, and walking distance to so many things, we could not pass it up.
What makes this Cottage unique
The sun porch is probably my favorite part of the house. The numerous windows provide such an open and inviting feel. Views of Town Cove are always a plus. It is a great room to enjoy the sunshine and/or sunset!

This adorable cottage was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated.
We really enjoyed our stay! This vacation home is in a great spot in Eastham. All of the local beaches are just a short drive away. Nauset Beach, Skaket Beach, First Encounter, Coast Guard Beach. Great restaurants close by! We particularly liked Hole in One for breakfast! There were lots of shops close enough to walk to with sidewalks and a pretty windmill to visit. Our cottage was nicely air conditioned in the hot, humid weather. We loved the sunroom!! Great for relaxing and reading. There was also a nice spot in the side yard that was shaded, with a nice breeze off the cove. All in all, the cottage was lovely and the owners were so very nice to deal with!
This tiny house is in a good spot whether you are trying to be near Orleans or Eastham. It's very near the traffic circle that goes to 6 North, so we explored the trails and offerings of the National seashore park and salt pond visitors center. We were also close enough to go visit Rock harbor (family fave) just about every day. If you have a boat to launch this is an ideal spot for you because you can walk to the launch on the Town Cove. My husband snuck out in the mornings to fish off the dock. You could walk to Stop and shop and TJ Maxx if you wanted. That being said as close as it was to a busy main road it was quiet in the morning. Bring your own linens and towels they are not provided - not sure if this was mentioned beforehand, but an easy problem to solve we crossed the street to TJ Maxx. Also if you try to locate this little gem on Google maps it will show you the wrong place. Because it's on the line between Eastham and Orleans and there is an Ellis road in Orleans as well there can be some confusion. Use Goose hummock as a landmark if you want to map search the location. We had a lovely week!! Thank you Stacy!
Wonderful Cape Cod find!
We had a wonderful stay in this house and the Fosters could not have been better hosts. The cottage was immaculate when we arrived and everything about the rental was as advertised. The large yard was nice for taking out our two dogs and the location worked well for us, being on a quiet street that was close to everything we wanted in Orleans, and close to both bay and ocean beaches. We usually visited First Encounter Beach for the early morning and beautiful sunsets and chose different ocean beaches every afternoon. We would definitely recommend this property to family or friends and hope to be able to return in the future!
Cozy, nestled 2 bedroom Eastham cottage located just steps away to all that Orleans has to offer. Rent a kayak or paddle board from one of two sporting shops next door, and within minutes enjoy a relaxing escape onto the waters of Town Cove. Hungry? Choose from seven restaurants within a one mile radius, or jump in your car for a short ride to many more restaurants around the Orleans/Eastham area. Should the shopping bug jump up and bite you, there is a TJ Maxx and Christmas Tree Shop within one mile (you might want to drive. Who knows how many bags you will have when you are done!). Less than two miles away will take you to downtown Orleans, where you could spend hours perusing the local shops and art galleries. Let us not forget the amazing beaches surrounding 15 Ellis. Skaket Beach, in Orleans, is just 1.7 miles, while popular Nauset Beach is less than a 15 minute car drive. Coast Guard Beach, in Eastham, is a mere 15 minutes away and was named one of the top ten beaches in the U.S. in 2016 by The Weather Channel. Many vacationers opt to be active, and who could blame them. The Cape Cod Rail Trail is a 22 mile path from Dennis to Wellfleet. 22 miles sound a little too much? Consider jumping on the trail right down the street, no more than .5 miles from the house.
