Log home with lots of charm!

Delightful little cabin with everything we needed! My daughter and husband especially loved the hot tub, and I liked the nicely stocked kitchen and the laundry facilities. Easy to get to, and the owner was a great communicator.

Spent 4 days 3 nights with 3 other friends for a girls get away to Asheville. Loved the secluded setting and yet the 20-30 minute drive to either the Pisgah National forest or downtown Asheville! Very clean! Very well stocked with all the kitchen supplies you might need for a weekend away from your own home!

The cabin is wonderful! The first floor has a spacious master suite with an attached master bath. The master bath has a double sink and a roomy shower. Just outside the master suite is a roofed deck with a hot tub. The yard is fenced in - great if you have pets. There were plenty of towels both out by the hot tub and in the bathroom. Also on the first floor is a large living room with comfortable couches and a huge TV. The kitchen was modern and well supplied and had great appliances. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all open - one large space. Just off the dining room is a room containing a washer and dryer. Everything was well supplied - coffee filters, paper towels, dishes, cookware, etc.

The second floor has three rooms - another large bedroom, a bathroom, and a loft area with bunk beds, couches, games, videos, books, etc.

The cabin is on a quiet road and sits on a hill that overlooks the valley and houses below. It is VERY private and very comfortable. The wrap around deck is a perfect place to relax.

The location is convenient to Asheville, Hendersonville, and the surrounding small towns in the valley. It is secluded, but still less than 5 miles from the grocery, pharmacy, gas station, and restaurants.

Cathy was great to work with and gives you her cell number if you need anything.

So, in summary, it was perfect.

We had a wonderful weekend trip to Asheville and enjoyed Cathy's Cabin! The house was so organized and well stocked. I could see and feel the love of the owner in the home. I also enjoy cooking and was very appreciative of the kitchen and how everything was there that I needed. The children enjoyed the loft where they could play but still be a part of the conversation downstairs. The house was also noticeably extra clean which made us feel more comfortable. Thank you so much for helping to make our trip a great one.
