About Brenda Leavitt
We, as owners, created our family compound on Hidden Pines, which includes this Cabin in the Woods, along with Miranda's Hideaway and our log home. Rich is a builder and has built this property for a guest home for our family and friends. Now that our children are grown, we have extra bedrooms in our home for our friends, so we decided to have other guests, like you, enjoy all that we have to offer. We have lived in Fryeburg area since 1981 and have been blessed with the surroundings here of family and friends. Living on property, assures you that all your needs will be taken care of should there be a reason to contact us. We love where we live and always enjoy making new friends, yet afford you the privacy you desire.
Brenda Leavitt purchased this House in 2003
Why Brenda Leavitt chose Fryeburg
We initially moved our family to Fryeburg to enjoy all the benefits of the school systems, to include private school, Fryeburg Academy. But then we grew to love the location. We are 10 minutes from the mountains in North Conway, NH, 15 minutes from the lakes in Bridgton, ME. We love the quaintness of our community. Rich build this property as a guest house over a 2 car garage, where originally started his contracting business. Since then, we have a quaint 1 bedroom unit on the lower level, with this 2 bedroom home on the second floor. Although this is a village location, we are tucked into the woods of Hidden Pines and are surrounded by pines and fields. Right across the driveway, is a walking path right down to the "raspberry patch", where we grow raspberries during the season. We are centrally located in the village and within a moment's drive you can be at least 3 locations to enjoy breakfast should you desire to eat out. Dunkin' Donuts is less than a mile away for the coffee lovers! All the winter and summer amenities are within a moment's drive. Fryeburg Fairgrounds in less than a 2 mile drive. Fryeburg Academy is less than 1 mile away. Bike bath is right around the corner.

Exceeded our expectations
The Pine View cabin was a large and inviting space with so many special touches to make you feel at home. The kitchen area has any utensil/appliance you might need, bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap, and body lotion, and closets are large with plenty of storage space for your belongings. The cabin is clean and cared for very well. This was our second time staying with Brenda and Rich, and they are two of the kindest people we have ever met. They are full of suggestions for places to eat and things to do in the area, and they've made my boyfriend and I feel at home during both of our stays. Would strongly recommend this property and these hosts!
Great place to stay
Cozy and charming cabin. Close to North Conway attractions, Maine waterfalls like rattlesnake pool and Saco river tubing. Clean and well equipped. We will come back!
We enjoyed our stay and the owners were friendly and very helpful. They made sure we knew how to reach them and even checked in with us. When we needed a pot holder it was delivered within 15 minutes!! Very clean with everything in great shape.
We were close enough to everything yet far enough away not to feel crowded,.
Our only negative comment was the second bedroom did not get enough air from the a/c on the warmest night. Of course windows open was usually enough.
This property was very clean and well equipped and looked just like the photos on-line.
We were well served using this location for day trips to many of the areas lovely attractions. I can highly recommend it. It was a fun place to stay.
Lovely place to enjoy and relax.
I was surprised at how this beautiful place could look even better than the pictures. It is roomy and beautifully decorated. It has a modern updates with a cabin feel. I also liked that it was set back from the main road, but not far from the river, activities and restaurants. Very nice.
The property was beautiful and clean very good space to lay your head and relax
My son and I came here to snowmobile and had great time wih plenty of space great place to stay if you are in need of cabin.. thanks
