The view was great!
The view was great! The unit itself is sadly outdated. The interior was dusty and the comforter has holes in it. I was under the impression that one round of dishwasher detergent would be there for me to run the dishwasher before leaving as instructed. I started the dishwasher, but there was no soap for it. We had a toilet stop up and flood while we were there, but maintenance arrived quickly and solved the problem. The bulbs in the master bathroom needed replacing as there was barely any light being emitted, but again, maintenance quickly changed the bulbs.

May 2018 Stay
We’ve enjoyed sterling sands for years. Beautiful sea and not overcrowded. I think we’ve been on every floor. 406 was a nice condo. Had a drainage problem in tub but maintenance took care of it promptly. Might want to check dryer element, it took almost two hours to dry a regular load of clothes. My other suggestion would be to replace or shampoo the area rugs. Beds were very comfortable. Had a great time.

Nice unit but tired and worn out and outrageous VRBO fees
Great location, easy check in and out.
The unit itself is a big 2 bed 2 bath and a great layout.
The furniture however, is old and worn out, and we had to insert pillows under the couch cushions in order not to sink in so deep it was uncomfortable.
As far as VRBO is concerned their add on fees are starting to look like the airlines. We had a 3 night stay, and the taxes, registration fee, cleaning fee, and security fee were 50% of the actual lodging cost. This brought the $300+ dollar per night up to $500. I suspect I can find a luxury hotel suit for equal to or less than that, and will get someone to carry my bags and give me clean towels and sheets every day. $125 security fee!!! outrageous. For what,an older retired guy getting $10/hr to walk around the grounds at night. Do the math, 4 stays per month for 108 units in the building equals $54000 per month for security. Just one more charge to screw the customer. VRBO....never again!
