Summer Season has book your summer get-away now.......3 levels of living in this spacious fully furnished Cottage/Chalet just across the road from Island Pond..... a short walk to the shores where you can enjoy a quiet canoe or kayak adventure or sit on the beach and enjoy the sounds of nature, this home can accommodate 6-8 people...lower level patio with grill over looks the Pond....Built in 1989 by the Owner, this home is avail from April to November for both vacation or short term rental. Two first floor bedrooms, one with a queen and twin and one with twin beds. First floor full bath, lower level is a walkout and is a family room. top loft has a futon bed and a great reading area. The front of this home has floor to cathedral ceiling you a magnificent view of Island Pond..... enjoy your morning coffee on the deck listening to the sounds of nature.....

The House is very nice, the ad is deceiving

Like I said the overall house is very nice, we had everything we needed. The deck and patio are very nice, wonderful furniture. Only one tv in living room.Would have been nice to have one in Master Bedroom. Like I said the ad is very deceiving. The first pictures you see are of the lake, with the chairs and picnic table. What it doesn't say is that this is down the road a little way and this is not a lake front property. With that in mind I feel the price I paid was some what high for not being a lake front property. I was some what disappointed about this, to say the least.

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking to time to write a response regarding your stay here in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. I will certainly ask the owner if he would consider adding an additional TV in the bedroom. As to the location of the lake, I did quite clearly in my description indicate that it was a short walk to the beach and that it was across the street, my additional descriptions do not indicate it as a Lakefront home and that it has Lake views. Should you decide to return in the future I am sure we could make some monetary adjustments for you. I will try to improve my descriptions.
