The "Lake House", in historic Crystal Beach, is one of two quaint century cottages on the SoCo Cottages property. The property is a short stroll from the beach where the historic "Crystal Beach Amusement Park" once stood. Perhaps you have fond memories of riding "The Comet" as a child. Although the amusement park no longer stands there are plenty of activities and attractions to fill your summer vacation!
The "Lake House" is historic as it was erected in 1914. In the summer 2016 the SoCo Cottages property was purchased by a young couple from Niagara Falls. During the winter of 2016/2017 (and currently still) the cottage has undergone major renovations. The couple made sure to leave the historical charm while freshening up paint, flooring, lighting and furniture.
Not only are you close to all that Crystal Beach, Ridgeway, Fort Erie and Buffalo have to offer but you are a mere 20-25 minute drive the the exciting Niagara Falls and the beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake and the Bench of Grimsby. Niagara Falls in world renowned for its attractions while following the Niagara wine route will keep you occupied, and slightly tipsy, for days. Growing in the region over the last few years are also "micro breweries" for the beer lover!
Our cottage offers basic amenities to make you more than comfortable when you return from your days journey for some rest and relaxation!
Sunday to Sunday rentals throughout the summer months would be preferred but we are more than willing to work with you on your travel needs!
There is limited parking on property so each reservation is permitted 1 parking spot. An additional parking spot may be available upon request. Additional vehicles or day visitors will find other parking options at their own risk.
This reservation has a Firm cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 60 days prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 60 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 30 to 59 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 30 days prior to check-in.
Our house rules: primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events, no pets.
The Client is expected to leave the cottage in the same condition that
it was in, upon their arrival, and is responsible for the cleaning of
the cottage before they leave and removing their own garbage and
recycling. Cleaning supplies are provided. The Client agrees to read
and abide by the Household Rules and to use the inventory and equipment
in a safe and responsible manner. Unless specified otherwise, linens and towels are not provided. There is 1 parking spot allocated per reservation, an additional parking spot may be available upon request. Additional vehicles and day visitors are required to park elsewhere at their own risk. The Client and
guests are expected to act in a manner respectful to neighbours or renters of
other units at all times. Excessive noise is not permitted at any time and any
outside noise is not permitted after 11:00 pm. Complaints of noise, excessive
drunkenness etc. will be dealt with immediately and may include possible eviction
with no refund or legal charges. There is no fire pit and no outdoor fires of any kind are permitted.
