About Robert Maiaro
I have been on Lake George for over 54 years. Beginning in 1964 with our usual two week family vacation every summer for the first 25 years. We camped on the islands, mostly the (Mother Bunch Group), 11 miles south of this house. Then we moved here, (our little piece of heaven on the lake) in June, 1988. and have loved every second of time here. I hope you also will discover the magic of Lake George like I have.
Robert Maiaro purchased this House in 1988
Why Robert Maiaro chose Hague
We have a very private location with empty wooded land on one side of our house. Our property is large and level, great big lawn and 170 feet of shoreline. This house dominates the shoreline with its 7 stone columns, and facing across the lake. The lake water is crystal clear and the lake bottom in front of our property is all sand and gradual slope, great beach for small child . Great fishing straight out in front of us. Free dock space for a boat.
What makes this House unique
Short walk to the town park with two acres of level lawn and new children's playground equipment. Lifeguard, beach and boat launching ramp. A concert in the park, every Wednesday night!! Walk to the General Store, three churches and other stores. Hague also has two impressive nature walks, and two marinas.

Two full service Marina's in Town Visit historic Fort Ticonderoga. The Fort played an important part in early American history, changing hands a number of times from French to British and then to the Americans. See Mt. Defiance overlooking the Fort, where the British once dragged a cannon up the mountain to bombard the American troops out of the Fort the next morning. Take the scenic drive up the mountain and see how far the cannon shot went to bombard the Fort, and also see a spectacular view of Lake Champlain with the Fort dominating its shore line. Early American history is on display all around Lake George.
