Super good stay all around.

  • 5 of 5

Seeing signs “I heart living in East Hill” in yards told us we were home. We enjoy public art and some is near: “Graffiti Bridge”, visitor’s center with a Pensacola unique project “Pelican Trail” and the Brew Ha Ha mural. Google ‘em.

A house has a story to tell, but only when owners give it a voice. Our hosts gave this grand old lady so much “TLC” and attention to detail that she speaks volumes. She welcomes you with her comfort and warmth (like an “ole shoe”), history, architecture and décor.

Ever see a teenager ignore a phone for 30 mins? After the hugs, the house was a center of all our attention, including our teenager. As we toured the entire house, she made personable comments and ooohs and aaahs along with the rest of our troop.

That our hosts let us check in early and were there to meet us and give us a tour also was a plus. A good example of the aforementioned attention to detail is the fact that they had just installed a brand new stove and replaced some light bulbs in the recessed lights in the kitchen. We left for lunch while they finished up and when we returned, everything was spic ‘n span just like the rest of the house.

With over 1800 sq ', we stretched out. 8 of us sat comfortably in the DR while catching up over a home-cooked meal.

The well equipped, well-light kitchen lets two or three folks work together to fix a meal without stepping on each other. With disposal, dishwasher and soap provided, clean up was a breeze and we sat in the LR and continued catching up. If not for work and school the next day, we would have nestled in for a long night of yakking.

The master, with a big old comfy king bed and lots of pillows and covers, makes is hard to get up in the morning. The good news is that the Jacuzzi in the bathroom calls out to come on in and soak it up:).

The little dinette area and kitchen are just so cozy and warm in the mornings. With the sun shining in, that the first cup of coffee -- provided by our hosts, mind you -- turned into a couple. The view out of the kitchen windows is great. The yard has citrus trees and a couple varieties of camellias that still were in bloom. The birds loved it too because we saw them regularly flitting around and singing in the trees and on the birdhouse just outside the window.

The ole saw “This ain’t our first rodeo” applies here: This wasn’t our first “VRBO”, just truly one of our best. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks, Margaret and Kelly.

Lovely quiet neighborhood. Perfect for our little family and perfect location!

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed all the room the house had to offer, and how quiet the nice neighborhood was. It was the perfect location few minutes from the beach, a few minutes from the mall, literally right in the middle of every place you would want to visit. Our family will definitely be coming back for another stay!

Welcome to the charming 1928 Brown Brick Tudor. It is a 3 bedroom 2 bath home Pensacola's East Hill neighborhood. Being here you can reflect on a distant time when the pace of life was slower, more tranquil. Hearing the faint distant train whistle as it passes through town a few times per day, and the birds happily chirping all around is calming and a real treat. Enjoy the many flowering trees and plants on the property no matter what time of year you visit. Pensacola's seasons offer something beautiful to see year round. We decorate for the holidays so it is festive when you visit during a holiday.

We offer a k-cup coffee service with supplies and a regular coffee pot for larger needs.

This East Hill home is perfectly located to enjoy all the region has to offer. You are only 15 minutes from the home to being on the white sugar sands of Pensacola Beach (where the big beach ball water tower is located). Only 10 minutes to historic downtown Pensacola and the new Maritime Park on the water. Interested in visiting the Naval Air Station? That will be a short 20 minute drive to the front gate.

Or just relax and enjoy the tranquil home and neighborhood. Right across the street is a large city block square passive park with wonderful playground equipment for the children and a gazebo. You can relax on the covered breezeway with the Tiki bar and watch the kids playing in the park across the street.

The cultural events, festivals and celebrations for various holidays are ample and exciting year round in the Pensacola area. Coming to visit loved ones in the military, have a reunion, prepare for those special events like weddings or graduations in the Pensacola area? Don't be cramped in a hotel or condo, settle into an inviting home away from home.

We would love to help you get settled in, if we can. We would be happy to assist with your special requests or needs, if we can.
