You've earned your place in the sun! Let this classic and stylish, 5 bedroom, oceanfront home with private pool be your reward!

Step into an elegantly furnished home where wood floors and plush oriental rugs abound. The first floor consists of a spacious living room with plenty of comfortable seating, great ocean view, gas fireplace, 55” flat panel TV/Stereo/DVD entertainment system, and wet bar with sink, mini fridge and ice maker. Two sliding glass door entries allow for optimum views of the ocean and backyard as well as convenient access to the screened-in porch.

The overly spacious gourmet kitchen boasts an ocean view with access to the screened-in porch, granite counter tops, a huge, wood- topped center island with prep sink and 4 counter chairs, SubZero built-in stainless fridge, Dacor built-in stainless double ovens, Viking gas cook top with griddle, built-in GE Profile microwave, dishwasher and Keurig coffee maker. Enjoy your morning coffee and read the paper at the breakfast table that seats 6. The pass-through butler’s pantry with granite counter top and extra full size refrigerator, leads into the elegant, formal dining room with table seating for 6 plus 4 additional chairs.

The newly decorated master suite on the first floor consists of a large bedroom with King bed, 40” flat panel TV plus a separate sitting area with a gas fireplace and chaise lounge. The wraparound windows allow for a wonderful ocean view and there is private access to the screened-in porch from the sitting area.

The master bath features 2 full, separate baths for him and her. "His" bath has a large, walk-in tiled shower with a natural stone top vanity. "Her" bath has an antique claw foot tub, large, walk-in tiled shower and pedestal sink.

There is a beautifully decorated powder room with a marble top vanity off the foyer. You'll be spending a lot of time in the awesome screened-in porch, with its ocean view, table for 6 and seating group consisting of sofa, 3 chairs and lounger. It's an excellent area to relax or take a meal.

The second floor features 4 guest bedrooms and a separate media room. One guest bedroom has a King bed, TV and a private bath with tiled, walk-in shower and Corian top vanity. Another bedroom has a King bed, TV, and private bath with a tub/shower combo with tiled surround and Corian top vanity.

The third bedroom with a King bed is oceanfront and has a TV, a private bath with a walk-in tiled shower and Corian top vanity and offers private access to the sun porch. The last guest bedroom has 2 Double beds, ocean view, desk area and private access to the sun porch. This bedroom shares one of the private baths on this floor.

The media room features 1 Queen sofa sleeper, a wet bar with sink, and a 40” TV. There is a bonus room/sitting room that offers an ocean view, access to the sun porch and seating consisting of a love seat, 3 upholstered chairs, wicker chair and built-in sitting bench.

The private pool in the back yard surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds, is an oasis for relaxing or entertaining. The gas grill is located under the covered area of the pool deck. There's a table and 4 chairs as well as a hammock located in this spot as well as multiple loungers and chairs around the pool. The children will enjoy the huge back lawn when not at the beach.

We rented this great house for our family for the week of our daughter's wedding. Other family and friends travelled for the wedding and this place was perfect when they dropped by - which was often. The huge kitchen made it easy to entertain. The fridge in the kitchen is huge but there's also another in the pantry (which we used as a beer and wine fridge) and even a small one in the bar. The house is beautifully and comfortably furnished. It was a great backdrop for photos of the bridal party. A few notes: 1. We were there the last week of October and didn't have the pool heated and it was a great temperature for swimming. 2. The Sonos sound system worked everywhere expect the living room - which is where we wanted it most, unfortunately. 3. The property manager was easy to work with and very responsive. They came out to see if they could fix the sound system (but they weren't able to). They also brought by a few more garbage bags. I called to ask where to find extras and was told they only provide 2. (for a week in a house this size?! This and just 1 roll of paper towels and no kleenex made me drop the general condition rating one star. It seems to me that a luxury place shouldn't skimp on those things.) 4. There are 4 upstairs bedrooms but only 3 have en suite baths. The people in the 4th bedroom either had to go through another bedroom or use the powder room on the main floor. 5. We were a little concerned when we saw the signs indicating that the a/c was not to be set to below 72. However, there are fans in all the bedrooms which kept us plenty cool at night. We would definitely stay at this house again.

This is a beautiful home that accommodated our family well and the location is perfect. It was clean and well-maintained. The property manager had the lights on and music playing when we arrived and it was the perfect welcome for us. We enjoyed the spacious screened porch, the pool, and the front beach location. The home is well equipped with plenty of seating, dining space and beach equipment. The master suite is exquisite. The only surprise was that the 5th bedroom did not have a bathroom. From the description, we thought that two bedrooms shared a hall bath, which would have been fine, but all other bedrooms have private baths, so the 5th bedroom occupants would have to enter another bedroom to use a bathroom. We would definitely return to Avonlea.

The house was beautiful and everything we expected. The big back yard was nice as the surrounding houses blocked the wind somewhat and it wasn't quite as windy as the beach. This allowed the kids to play baseball a little easier. We had family pictures taken while we were there and the nice backyard and landscaping made for a really nice backdrop for some of the photos. The only downside was there were no stairs from the walkway to the beach. There was just a sand dune that had to be navigated to get down to the beach. My wife has a bad knee and I was very concerned she was going to hurt it trying to get over the dune.

  • You have the option of purchasing a non-refundable $55 security deposit protection plan that will cover you for up to $3000 of any accidental damage. The other option would be to send a check with your final payment for $3000 that would be refundable within 14 days of departure less any cost of accidental damages.
