A nice house on the lake
The house is right on the lake and very spacious. The layout of the house can be very accommodating for multiple styles of groups. The enclosed deck was very nice, as it was very buggy the weekend we stayed there (due to prior heavy rains).
Clean and roomy!
Beautiful lakefront home with lots of room. Owner was very helpful and easy to work with!
Making memories with family!
There was 18 of us and great time had by all! Weather was a little misty on Friday so we took pontoon boat out for awhile, then came back and played kick ball in the big back yard!! Sleeping accommodations were perfect and comfortable for all! Saturday was beautiful and we spent a lot of the day on Green Lake and the pontoon boat!! The sunsets were beautiful and we would definitely recommend this place to friends!!! The only downfall was. It being able to use upstairs shower in master bedroom!
The owner greeted us at the door- with no shirt on (?!) and said he was mowing the lawn. Not a great first impression, but we hoped it would get better. Unfortunately it did not. None of the bathrooms had toilet paper. The master bathroom shower could not be used because the shower knob was missing. The white blanket in the lower level bedroom was dirty. The upstairs closet provided towels - maybe 10 if we were lucky- thank goodness we brought extra. The outside of the property was worse. There is a nice deck off the kitchen with a grill; however the table, chairs and grill were so dirty, the first hour of our arrival was spent running to the store for cleaning supplies and toilet paper. The owner's pontoon boat and jet-ski were docked at the pier so we couldn't utilize that space. The pier was lopsided and in definite need of repair. The description of this home specifically says "pristine". ...I would say "not even close"... At the very least, we should expect a clean space, use of all bathrooms (and toilet paper!!!) ...Instead, I feel like we rented someones neglected lake-house. The listing for this home is very misleading and I would recommend using caution prior to booking.
This renter had expectations of a full service hotel. I provide toilet paper on there holder, towels for the amount of guest allowed and can't control when the wind blows leaves and acorns onto the outdoor furniture. Maybe the ride was to long....had bad time with guest or weather wasn't great....we know the type and hv had to deal with it.
Nice house but needs some tender loving care
This is a roomy split level home but they are very skimpy with supplies. The home says there is a DVD player and there isn't. One Tv in basement and very old!! We had little kids so we went out and bought a DVD player. Cold air return downstairs is filthy and stereo area needs dusting badly. They left "one" extra sheet. Really? Dead stinky carp by pier that has been there a while. Worked out well for space but location not ideal if you have your own boat!!
This renter had been texting me during the week of their arrival asking what's there to do for kids if the weather is bad......this doesn't sound like a relaxing vacation for grandma, and I did give fine suggestions. I'll be sure to remove all the dead fish in the lake....Really!
Great stay and location!
With a family of 15 staying for a week I thought it might be a little cramped, I was pleasantly surprised as the pictures don't do it justice as there was plenty of room. Brian was an amazing host and very quick to respond to questions. Only thing holding back a 5 star review was it could have been a little cleaner when we arrived. That said would absolutely stay again! Thanks again we had a blast.
