About Michelle Harrington

As a Bellingham realtor for 14 years, I have always had the passion to share this great community with others. I moved to Bellingham 21 years ago from Southern California to raise my family in what I believe until this day to still be one of the best places for education, recreation, beauty, family and friends. I am fortunate to live on South Hill just above Boulevard Park.

Michelle Harrington purchased this house in 2016

Why Michelle Harrington chose Bellingham

I drove by and noticed this home! The location almost could not be any better and the bones of the home were still intact. There was a 100 plus years of dust, dated renovations and personal belongings that I had to sift through. There were good and bad surprises along the way but mostly good. As each layer was peeled back, the home began to shine. I feel a deep connection with history of this home, only 4 owners prior to me. I will carry on the legacy of this home, newly named Buttercup and now share it with all my guests. Welcome.

Awesome location, very comfortable

  • 5 of 5

The home is in a great location. Such an easy walk to restaurants, shops, and the boardwalk/park in Fairhaven. It was very clean and nicely arranged with everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and it was modern with good appliances. We were very comfortable during our weekend stay and plan to visit again soon!

Perfectly Renovated and Very Walkable Neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

This house was exactly as detailed - it's beautifully renovated and in a perfect spot to walk to the shops and restaurants in Fairhaven. The Interurban trail is a block away as well. There are even partial water views from the house. Michelle the owner was very easy to communicate and very welcoming. The house is impeccably clean. I would highly recommend this house to anyone and I'd stay here again!

Beautifully furnished and incredible location

  • 5 of 5

We had such a nice stay at "Buttercup." The house is extremely comfortable and is furnished tastefully. The kitchen is convenient and is outfitted with all that you need to prepare a nice meal. What a delight to be able to easily walk to Fairhaven or along the bay at Boulevard Park. All the arrangements were easily handled by Michelle. We highly recommend this rental!

Buttercup Rental - Great location and neighborhood.

  • 5 of 5

The house is located in Fairhaven, which is perfect for shopping, dining, or taking a walk along the waterfront. There are several coffee shops to visit along the way as well.

Inside, the house has been beautifully renovated. There’s ample room in the kitchen, along with new appliances, several pots and pans, big refrigerator, coffee pot, and plenty of silverware/plates for everyone. Any garbage or recyclables can easily be carried to the carport area out the back door.

The main floor bedroom is far away from the living room, so that’s good if you have someone who might go to bed earlier than others. Also, the three bedrooms upstairs are well furnished and comfortable.

The main living room is large and comfortable, with two big couches and good quality television, with cable, internet, etc. The house is very clean, located in a safe neighborhood, and has available parking for guests right in front.

I highly recommend this house for anyone staying in the Bellingham area. It’s close to WWU, and has easy directions from the freeway.

Michelle made check-in seamless and easy.
