2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom Victorian With Parking & Utilities - 30 Day Minimum
Literally followed my heart to San Francisco and never looked back! I'm so blessed and fortunate, in that I inherited this beautiful Victorian home in 2003 from my beloved late husband. He purchased the home in 1967, and was a very famous "head mechanic" in the late 60's...hence, you'll notice some memorabilia throughout the house. From my research, and from talking to my neighbors, this is the oldest house on my street. I moved into the house in 2000, and I've slowly transformed her into the beautiful home she is today. She's old and needs constant love, but I just love living in this house and can't quite imagine living anywhere else, at least at the moment! I hope you will enjoy staying here as much as I do!

Charming home in great location!
This property is loaded with charm in a great neighborhood. Plenty of space in this 2/1 with great deck, office, and patio. Kitchen is fully equipped and beds are comfortable. We had a car and being able to park in the driveway was a big plus. Janice - the owner - is friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.
Great Noe Valley Stay!
My husband, dog and I had the greatest months in Noe Valley at this lovely home. Close to 24th street shops and restaurants, just up the hill from Castro and Eureka Valley, and quick drive to the Mission. Nice house, kitchen, etc. and we loved our host. She was so welcoming and made our stay even better. We will definitely return to this property next time we visit San Francisco!
Sue and Dan,
Thank you so much for the lovely review. I miss you all terribly and especially my buddy Logy! It was so FUN having you here...the laughs, the food, the cocktails! Hope to get together soon either in the city or PG! XOXO!!
Fantastic memorable experience
My wife and I (and our 3-year-old Labrador) where looking for a place to stay for 5 weeks in SF while we were escaping Boston cold.
The requirements we as follows
1). Comfortable feels like home
2) quiet yet close to things
4) Property owner that would be helpful but not in your face.
I must say that each of these gets emphatic YES! The place is awesome, cool collection or funky memorabilia from the 60s and beyond, 2 awesome bedrooms, the king bed in the master was cozy as hell and many sitting areas as well as an office. As my wife and I were working from there it was essential that we did not step on each other’s toes and it worked great.
I was amazed how quiet the street is yet a walk in one direction or another to tons of amazing shops cafes restaurants in noe valley, the castro and a bit longer to the mission. My favorite morning activity was a walk to mission Delores park where my dog could play with tons of other dogs w a million-dollar view of the city and then a walk to tartine for their amazing pastries, quiche and coffee! As mentioned above was great to have parking space.
Last but not least, is Janice, who is awesome, such a lovely lady with interesting stories and a real dog lover, while we never ask she helped with dog care a few times, we enjoyed having wine with her and sharing great stories, she also accommodated us w a space to store bikes and has great tips and suggestions. Yet, if you want privacy you get that as well.
This place was great, especially for the price and would go back in a heartbeat, almost do not wish to write this for fear it will be taken when we want to come back!!
Wow! Thank you Mike and Patrice for such a fabulous review! It was a pleasure to have you stay in my home...I just wish it could have been longer because the time just flew by! I truly enjoyed our visits and especially dog sitting Sydney...I have a soft spot for Labs! Please stay in touch and let me know if your move to the Bay Area comes to light. All the Best! Janice
This was a real home from Home. Fantastic location, very spacious, extremely comfortable beds
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone. Janice couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. Hope to come back some day!
Barry and Jane - What can I say? You two were Fun and Fabulous! Was so great to have you stay during the Holidays...decorating the tree, drinking wine, the music, dog sitting and just hanging out. I will miss you two, but most of all, I will miss little Dexter!! Let's stay in touch and shoot for that house swap in 2019??
All the Best --Janice
Comfortable and quiet with an unbeatable location!
We stayed in this gorgeous home for 4 months on our transition to San Francisco. The house is well-appointed with a combination of antique furniture and one-of-a kind San Francisco memorabilia. The kitchen is the heart of the home and is a nice place to cook while carrying on a conversation. Both bedrooms are roomy and have comfortable beds with amazingly soft pillows. To top it off, there is a rooftop deck with incredible views of Twin Peaks, the Castro and financial district. We had front row seats for the Blue Angels show during Fleet Week. Although there is a parking space, no car is needed. The house is well situated between the shops and restaurants in Noe Valley and the Castro / Duboce Triangle and is right on the 24 bus line. It's also within walking distance from the Castro muni stop and 16/24th BART stations. We were spoiled by living here for 4 months and didn't want to leave. I highly recommend this lovely home for a long-term stay.
Thank you Barbara and Jim for your wonderful review! I'm so happy you found my home both convenient and comfortable during your transition to my beautiful city. You were so quiet I barely knew you were here! Glad you're staying in the neighborhood and perhaps we'll run into each other while out and about.
A perfect stay for anyone who wants to experience the charm of SF
Situated at the top of the hill between Noe Valley and The Castro, this home is walking distance to the family lifestyle of Noe and colorful gay community of SF. The home is more than comfortable for a family of 4 with all the Victorian charm + modern conveniences. Janice the home owner is extremely nice and has quickly become part of our family. Highly recommend
Thank you Eric, for the wonderful review! It was so fun having you and your beautiful family staying here, and I look forward to seeing you upon your return to SF. Best of luck on your home search and the possibility of a future visit to Denver. The house is so quiet! I miss you all already!!
