Needs a lot of improvement

  • 1 of 5

There was mouse feces in thw drawers with the silverware and underneath thw counters. The oven did not work. The grill had very little fuel(someone brought us a new tank) The hot tub would not heat up. The bed room left of the kitchen leaked water on my face while I was sleeping and soaked the bed. There were no trout in the creek and a local told me that the creek does not get stocked like it used too but you advertised it as a trophy stream. I have stayed at better cabins than for less money. I did love the spacious room and the lay out of the cabin. I did love the lot and the creek. My friends and I visit this area two or three times a year to trout fish and enjoy the mountains and this has been the worst trip so far.

Owner's Response: Hello, We are very disappointed to hear you didn’t not fully enjoy your stay with us. We strive to provide each and every guest with a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere to kick back in. We pride ourselves in having high standards for our cabins. Unfortunately, unforeseen incidents can occur, and some housekeeping issues can be accidentally missed. We do advertise Fightingtown Creek as a trophy trout stream as the state of Georgia does as well. We will do our best to resolve any issues you had while staying with us and invite you to contact our office to speak more about the problems encountered during your vacation. We thank you for your patronage and look forward to cooperating with you now and into the future. Thank you for your time!

Very Nice

We enjoyed our stay! Very clean, and spacious.

The only thing that was a little frustrating was the lack of light at the pool table area.

Great property with excellent location. But there were a few issues that were unacceptable. #1- multiple sightings of roaches in kitchen an upstairs master bathroom. #2- downstairs was at times hot and had a mold smell that was unpleasant. #3 issues with hot tub water temperature control. Did not get hot.
