Live in style in our newly renovated one bedroom apartment. The apartment comfortably sleeps four persons, a neutral, comfortable and very clean interior, hard-wood floors, flat screen TV, cable and free WiFi. A well appointed kitchen, as well as in-house laundry and off-street parking. No pets, please. Weekly cleaning service available upon request for an additional fee. The unit is now also air-conditioned.
Anton Padini and his wife are an industrious couple with a background in law, retail and hospitality. We are avid travelers, gardeners, foodies and art collectors. Right now we spend most of our time chauffeuring around our daughters.
Christiane or Anton purchased this apartment in 2012
Great location in center of all that is atractive about Portland. The apartment is newly renovated, which adds additional comfort.
Conveniently sleeps four; child-friendly (we can even provide some toys and give you in-sights on what to do with children in Portland); newly appointed kitchen; great location with private parking spot; Absolutely no smoking!
We stayed in this lovely apartment for a week over Christmas and cannot say enough about what a wonderful spot this is. The owners have excellent taste in furnishings and finishes. The apartment is in a historic building and is modern meets historic, a perfect combination and so cute. Big windows, spacious and even a fireplace. I am very picky about cleanliness and this apartent is exceptionally clean, even down to new sponge in the kitchen. Excellent location where you can walk two blocks to a great shopping street (23rd) and lots of wonderful restaurants. The owners are so kind and responsive. They gave us some excellent restaurant tips and site seeing ideas. Christiana who owns the property with her husband, has a rug shop down stairs. Beautiful rugs and she has some in the apartment which makes it extra special. She was so kind and brought us some Christmas decorations! The owners are not intrusive but there if you need them. I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. Can't wait to return.
This was our first trip to Portland, and this apartment was excellent! It's in a nice neighborhood and walkable to many shops, restaurants, hikes, etc. Donut fans rejoice! Blue Star donuts is only two blocks away! It's also only one block to the Portland streetcar/public transit, which we used almost exclusively to go downtown, eastside, and the airport. No car needed, unless you want to sight-see outside of the city. The apartment was spacious, comfortable. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed and we walked to a local grocery to pick up some staple foods. It's always nice to have the option to eat-in. The WiFi was a bit spotty- my only complaint. We would definitely stay here again! Christianne (owner) was lovely.
Loved the apartment, plenty of room, updated, great decor. Perfect location to walk, parking behind the house. My teens loved that it was an official Pokemon Go stop! The owners were helpful with tips for our travel and just very responsive if we had questions or needed anything. Space for the 4 of us, really didn't want ot leave such a great space, nice energy!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It is very well maintained, spacious (for two/three), and located in a great part of the city (near 23rd Ave - shops, restaurants, events). Walkable to several neighborhoods (Nob Hill, Pearl, Downtown, Chinatown, Forest Park, and many more), bikeable to almost every neighborhood in Portland, and located very close to the Portland Streetcar, light rail, and bus system. A car is not needed unless you are planning on leaving Portland.
Christiane and Anton are exceptional hosts. They offered recommendations for restaurants, excursions, and events that were enjoyable. I was very impressed by their hospitality and would love to return in the future; I felt right at home. I highly recommend this apartment.
We stayed in this apartment during the holidays. Christiane really took the time to make it homey and festive for us, especially our boys. It was truly a great cozy space, even for our family of four, so much so that our two boys didn't want to leave the apartment some days!! The apartment was decorated beautifully, the furniture was really comfortable. While Christiane and her family were away on vacation, her employee Wendy was such a hospitable host. She checked up on us from time to time and even brought up Legos that the boys were totally into! We utilized the streetcar line almost everyday to get from one place to another. We also watched "Shrek: The Musical" at the Children's Theater (also near the apartment) that my 3- and 5-year-old really enjoyed. Thank you!
We loved our stay with Christiane and Anton were incredibly gracious hosts. They even invited us to their Friday happy hour with wine and hors-doeuvres!
The unit is very well appointed with a full size working kitchen and a very cozy living room. The bedroom has a very nice bed and we slept very well.
The location was perfect for walking downtown, going to the Pearl or just hitting the restaurants on 23rd St.
The unit was exceptionally clean and the linens provided were very high quality.
If you are looking for a lovely place to stay with a human connection to the owners, this is the place. I can't speak highly enough of them.
