Clean and comfy!
We had a relaxing three night stay and enjoyed attractions in the area since it was a little cold for the beach!
Perfect Beach Property!!!!
It was such an amazing week down there!! The weather was great! Our room and view were very nice! I do wish our room could have been cleaned better. We had to go out and get a ton of cleaning supplies because it still felt dirty. The pool could have also been cleaned more while we were there. We barley got to be in the beach because the flys were SO bad during the week we were there too. But honestly the whole trip was a 10/10! There was so much to do down there! And we can’t wait to go back next year!
A little shabby and dated despite renovation but well equipped and perfectly placed so had a fantastic stay!
Clean, well appointed. Very comfortable for just the two of us.
Great place to relax on the beach. Be sure to rent chairs and umbrella if you don't bring your own.
Thank you for the positive feedback! We always like hearing that our guests enjoyed their time on Isle of Palms and in our condo. We hope to see you again real soon.
Nice, clean, cozy unit. We love the Sea Cabins.
Thank you for the quick review. We love this unit with the pier, proximity to town, the beach, and the pool. We hope to see you back on the island soon!
Beautiful Weekend at the Beach but not quite what we Expected
My husband and I mostly enjoyed our time at the condo for our second anniversary trip. As a fellow VRBO owner, I loved the beach decor. The weather was beautiful and we loved the close proximity to the store and ate at the great Long Island Cafe for lunch. The beach was very close by but we expected that it would have an ocean view since it was advertised as an Oceanfront condo- instead we had a view of the parking lot and we were surprised by the placement of the bedroom which only had the window behind our heads and that the room seemed much smaller than pictured with the bed taking up the majority of the room (and making it difficult for me to navigate at 7 months pregnant). I agree with the previous reviewer that the AC was extremely loud when it would turn off, and it was very jarring to hear the shuddering noise. We were also disappointed that we had to buy salt and pepper solely to make breakfast and that housekeeping came by at 9:30 A.M. on the day we checked out to ask when we were leaving. It bothered us that anyone would come question us 30 minutes before the listed checkout time. Isle of Palms is beautiful though and with a few small changes we would love to return to the Sea Cabins.
Thank you for your recent visit to the Isle of Palms and for your comments regarding your accommodations at 145 Sea Cabins. I would like to apologize for any difficulties that you experienced during your stay and for taking your time to share them with me and VRBO. I feel very strongly that any negative experience our guests encounter is unacceptable; not only to me, but also to our entire Beachside Team, and guest feedback is always appreciated and taken very seriously.
The Team at Beachside works very hard to share with every guest all aspects of every property through an interactive 3D Matterport Tour as well as traditional professional photography. The technology of the Matterport Tour is amazing and even allows you to walk up to a window to see the view. The Sea Cabins are an excellent alternative to a hotel room. They feature a small kitchen, living room, built in bunks, and a bedroom. Their design with 490 square feet is to maximize living space, which does result in the bedroom being limited in size. In general, this is a win for vacation families looking for space to relax, cook and watch television versus the time spent in the bedroom. Thank you so much for your note on the shuddering noise. We traced this down to the refrigerator, which was replaced immediately. The Team at Beachside shares with every guest several e-mail messages as well as access to our Welcome Home App prior to arrival. In this correspondence, we share with arriving guests a “What To Pack” list. Unfortunately, salt, pepper, and other condiments are considered food, and health regulations require that all food is removed from a rental property between guests.
Thank you again for sharing your experience, especially your information regarding the noise from the refrigerator so that it could be replaced.
