Comfortable property, convenient location.

The two best things about this property was Domingo, the super friendly and helpful caretaker and the fruit trees. We really enjoyed coconuts and grapefruit right off the tree. Unfortunately, we were at the weong time for bananas.

The house is large, three bedrooms, and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the open feel of spacious upstairs and appreciated how clean the house was.

The property is large and fenced, great for kids to play, but you have to watch out for red ants.

The location of property is great for a stopping off point to explore places like the zoo or blue hole national park. It is also a great place for people who are staying on business in Belmopan.

The house and property were great. Close to everything we wanted to do. The only down fall was it was hot. There were fans in the house but some days it was as hot inside as outside. Other than that the house and property was everything we asked for. I will stay there again if ever back in the area.

This home was much more than we expected.

This home is in a wonderful location to do all kinds of sight seeing and close to Belopan to do your shopping. We went to the Belize zoo, the Mayan Ruins, Barton caves, Spanish Lookout area and went hiking in parks and much more. We stayed a week and never run out of places to explore. The grounds were lovely with its own Howler Monkey. The caretakers made it very special. They took very good care of us and had the place spotless. They were a very friendly couple and made us feel welcome and helped us learn about the people and the area. The price was very affordable. I would recomend it.

We Loved It! Spacious, private & centrally located.

Short review: Pleasant, helpful owners. Nice rooms, bathrooms & kitchen. Perfect location. Reliable internet. Amazing outdoor property.

Long review: My family and I stayed at this property for 4 weeks. Just got home last night. We had a fantastic time and much of the success of our trip is due to having stayed at this property. The owner was very nice and helpful from start to finish. The rooms, bathrooms & kitchen were all as advertised. It was much more spacious than I anticipated. The internet speed was good and very reliable. I'd compare it to average DSL. (we ventured out and stayed at a couple of other places in the far reaches of the country while we were there and didn't encounter internet faster than what we had at the house) Where this property really shines is its location in Belize and the surrounding acreage that comes with it.

Location: This property sits in the perfect location in Belize, as far as I'm concerned. Near the conveniences of Belmopan but not right in the city. It's right by the Western Highway, but not on it. So no traffic zooming in front of you all day, but no long dirt road to drive down either. Not very far from all the neat things in the San Ignacio area. Only slightly more than an hour trip away from the water taxi in Belize City and all that is accessible from there. Going to the Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) Cave was a snap. We walked 8 minutes down the road to the turn off and met the tour right there as they came in from San Ignacio. The Hummingbird Highway is only minutes away. This is a gorgeous drive and the access point for everything in Southern Belize. I could go on. The location is perfect for someone looking for a place that is central.

The acreage: This place is awesome. It's 13 acres with a perfect mix of crazy thick jungle and nicely landscaped space. And you basically have it all to yourselves. (there's a helpful caretaker who lives in a small house on one corner of the property) There are things to see and adventures to be had right on that property. We had a great time between excursions just walking around and checking out the property. We went out several times at night with flashlights to look for the howler monkeys. Oh, and there's nothing like a couple of acres of lightning bugs at night! What a neat sight. It's hard to find something that has this added benefit.

I'm out of space to write! We loved this place. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
