Very comfortable house and helpful homeowner
We loved the house....the only reason I didn’t rate it with 5 stars is that I thought we would have a water view. The photos of the outside of the house (and what I thought was the yard) included water scenes.
Somerset Village was quaint, quiet and fifteen minutes from the Dockyard and beaches. We were able to easily rent mopeds and a motorboat from nearby Cambridge Beach Resort. Very friendly people wherever we went.
The owner was caring and responsive when we had questions or problems.
Clean and well maintained cottage.
Enjoyed our stay at the Coach House. Large private yard. The private beach is a short walk down the road. Easy walk to Somerset bus stop and pub.
Beautiful property, exceptional outdoor space, easy access to bus.
Easy access to south shore beaches and dockyard.
Highly recommend - Beautiful!!!
We are two retired couples, just back from our 2 week mid-March holiday at The Coach House. Our first trip to Bermuda. We note that all 24 previous reviews gave 5 stars out of 5 and we absolutely agree with all the comments offered by those who went before. Mid-March isn't prime swimming time so we didn't, nor did we have much use for the air-conditioning but we did use the heating a few mornings and we did use the laundry facilities. We are seriously considering a repeat visit and won't bother to look for anywhere else to stay. The Coach House has our vote.
Excellent- just as described
Very pleasant week. Amenities and information provided by owner were very welcome and helpful.
Coach House is located between Cambridge Beaches and Somerset Village. The cottage is set in a private garden and has it's own waterfront and tiny beach a short walk down Tween Walls on Mangrove Bay. The large yard and calm waters are ideal from families with children. The natural beauty of Mangrove Bay may be enjoyed from the water on sailboats, kayaks, and motor boats available at H2O sports a short walk from the Cottage. Paddle around the island and through Somerset Bridge, famous for being the smallest drawbridge in the world. Rent bicycles from the kiosk at Cambridge Beaches and take a ride on the Railroad Trail that runs the length of the island. For history buffs and shoppers, Dockyard is just a short bus ride. The beautiful beaches of the South Shore are also a short bus ride away.
