Located in the charming mountain community of Canmore, this 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom condo is in the perfect location for a mountain vacation and can comfortably sleep 4 - 6 people. (Can fit 4 adults and 4 kids)
This single level corner unit is on the third floor of the Canmore Crossing complex and, despite almost 1300 sq ft of open plan space, it still manages to retain a cosy and comfortable feel. It has underground parking and a storage locker for skis and other toys. You’ll have full use of 2 rooftop hot tubs after a day of skiing or hiking with great views of the Bow Valley (including the 3 Sisters). There is also an indoor hot tub and a fully equipped workout room.
The unit has a master ensuite bedroom with a queen sleigh bed and a great view of Cascade Mountain. The second bedroom has an adjoining bathroom and twin beds (which can be put together to make a king size bed). Both bedrooms have ample closet space. As well as the beds we have a sofa bed that is way more comfortable than the traditional ones that are lumpy and poke springs in your back all night. If even more sleeping space is needed, the condo also has a comfortable double air mattress (with electric pump).
The fully equipped, modern and spacious kitchen is ideal for preparing meals. Quality appliances include dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer with icemaker and water filter, stove, coffee machine, toaster & blender The slate floor in the kitchen, entrance way, and both bathrooms have underfloor heating, great for warming the feet during a Canadian winter.
The living room has panoramic views of the entire North-East range of mountains in the Canmore section of the Bow Valley, including Mount Lady Macdonald and Grotto Mountain. Relax on the comfortable leather couches in front of the gas fireplace and take in the vista. One couch is a very comfortable queen sofa-bed (not the old-fashioned hide-a-bed variety) and there is also plenty of room for a double air mattress (also supplied). Cable TV (included Chromecast allows you to stream content directly from your phone or tablet), landline telephone, DVD player (with selection of DVDs) as well as high speed internet are all included.
The balcony has views of the same mountains as the living room, as well as Cascade Mountain to the North West and Mount Rundle to the West - a perfect place for a BBQ.
Upon arrival you'll be provided with supplies including coffee, tea, laundry detergent, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. If you have small children then you won't need to bring the bulky stuff with you; we run a family-friendly condo and supply a high chair, a bed rail and a playpen. We also keep a National Park Pass at the condo that will give full access to Banff National Park (and any others you may visit, e.g. Jasper National Park).
Our family loves to spend time here (it makes a great base for exploring the surrounding area) and we look forward to welcoming you for your Rocky Mountain vacation at our Canmore mountain condo.
