Located in the charming mountain community of Canmore, this 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom condo is in the perfect location for a mountain vacation and can comfortably sleep 4 - 6 people. (Can fit 4 adults and 4 kids)

This single level corner unit is on the third floor of the Canmore Crossing complex and, despite almost 1300 sq ft of open plan space, it still manages to retain a cosy and comfortable feel. It has underground parking and a storage locker for skis and other toys. You’ll have full use of 2 rooftop hot tubs after a day of skiing or hiking with great views of the Bow Valley (including the 3 Sisters). There is also an indoor hot tub and a fully equipped workout room.

The unit has a master ensuite bedroom with a queen sleigh bed and a great view of Cascade Mountain. The second bedroom has an adjoining bathroom and twin beds (which can be put together to make a king size bed). Both bedrooms have ample closet space. As well as the beds we have a sofa bed that is way more comfortable than the traditional ones that are lumpy and poke springs in your back all night. If even more sleeping space is needed, the condo also has a comfortable double air mattress (with electric pump).

The fully equipped, modern and spacious kitchen is ideal for preparing meals. Quality appliances include dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer with icemaker and water filter, stove, coffee machine, toaster & blender The slate floor in the kitchen, entrance way, and both bathrooms have underfloor heating, great for warming the feet during a Canadian winter.

The living room has panoramic views of the entire North-East range of mountains in the Canmore section of the Bow Valley, including Mount Lady Macdonald and Grotto Mountain. Relax on the comfortable leather couches in front of the gas fireplace and take in the vista. One couch is a very comfortable queen sofa-bed (not the old-fashioned hide-a-bed variety) and there is also plenty of room for a double air mattress (also supplied). Cable TV (included Chromecast allows you to stream content directly from your phone or tablet), landline telephone, DVD player (with selection of DVDs) as well as high speed internet are all included.

The balcony has views of the same mountains as the living room, as well as Cascade Mountain to the North West and Mount Rundle to the West - a perfect place for a BBQ.

Upon arrival you'll be provided with supplies including coffee, tea, laundry detergent, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. If you have small children then you won't need to bring the bulky stuff with you; we run a family-friendly condo and supply a high chair, a bed rail and a playpen. We also keep a National Park Pass at the condo that will give full access to Banff National Park (and any others you may visit, e.g. Jasper National Park).

Our family loves to spend time here (it makes a great base for exploring the surrounding area) and we look forward to welcoming you for your Rocky Mountain vacation at our Canmore mountain condo. If the dates you require are not available please get in contact with us anyway so we can add you to our waiting list in case we get any cancellations.

We recently bought this property after having visited Canmore numerous times. We are hoping to share our love of the mountains with our daughters and think it will be a great place for family vacations. We hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do.

What makes this condo unique

We really love the location of our condo; it allows you to enjoy the town without needing to use a car. Having the shops so close means you don't have to plan ahead, and you can go out and enjoy an evening meal or night at the pub without having to find a taxi home!

Tara and Steven made our stay at their Canmore condo very comfortable without any worries or concerns. Their condo is situated in the town center where all convenient coffee shops and grocery stores are located, all literally across the street, and it was very easy to find the place with their detailed instructions for keyless entry. Inside of the condo it was very clean and had a cabin-like decor, with artistic bear and elk paintings and beautiful lampshades placed in the living room. The gas-lit fireplace made the living room very warm and cozy, and it was a pleasant experience relaxing on the couches and feeling warm next to the fire. We had excellent WiFi reception to their fast cable internet in all rooms of the condo. Their kitchen is well-stocked with pots and pans, and we didn't really need to buy any additional spices or oils to cook our meals. Their bathroom had everything needed to take a bath/shower, like towels, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, etc., and their detailed guest book answered all other questions we had about the place. Overall, we highly recommend staying at this place when visiting Banff or Lake Louise, and as the description says, it's a wonderful for families. Their Discovery Pass, which was in the room and available for use, allows entry to all Canadian national parks free of charge, and it was an unexpected surprise and bonus seeing this pass in the room.

The town of Canmore is 1 hour West of Calgary and 15 minutes drive from Banff. There are 4 world class ski hills within easy drive as well as the Canmore Nordic Centre for Olympic class cross country skiing.

The condo is close to Canmore’s endless outdoor recreational opportunities, you’ll also be within a few minutes walk of shops, restaurants and bars as well as Canmore’s Main Street. We are very close to supermarkets (Safeway, Sobeys), Starbucks, a medical centre, banks (Scotiabank, RBC, TD Canada Trust), and Shopper's Drug Mart.

Perfectly located, clean rental with parking!

This location is hard to beat! You are within walking distance of two grocery stores, two coffee shops, several restaurants, a clothing store and more! The town centre is also an easy walk, and they have a covered parking spot! The condo is clean, and the door code allows for guests to not be worrying about keys.

We would DEFINITELY stay here again! Canmore is one of the most breathtaking places around, and to have the ability to save money by cooking meals at "home" and to save luggage space by being able to do laundry is huge!

Plenty of room for families of four or more--though do note there is quite a bit of light in the main living room with the pullout bed.

We would certainly recommend this location for those wanting a few days away in Canmore!

Banff July 2017

Nice place. Very clean and reasonably priced. Only stayed here a couple of nights but had a nice stay. Can get a little noisy during the day due to proximity to store parking lots but we were out hiking most of the day so that wasn't a big deal.

Another great stay

Enjoyed another two weeks at the Condo in Canmore. ....Love that it is centrally located in town so did not need a car. The views from all the condo windows are stunning, especially at sunrise. The building is quiet ...can watch the the line form at Starbucks for their 6:30 opening! ( we are coffee lovers and Canmore has a great selection of cafes and eateries)

Also....

There is a bus with a route around town and another bus to Baniff which saves parking hassles during the busy tourist season.
