About Jeff Clary
I moved to New Orleans in 1993 to attend Tulane University. And the City that Care Forgot wasted no time sucking me in. As a young man, this Uptown neighborhood met my every want and need - a half block from Mardi Gras, a quick stumble to some of the best live music in the city at Tipitina's and Les Bons Temps, fine eats at Dick and Jenny's, and plenty of libations within striking distance. Now I am older, with three children, and though my needs have changed the neighborhood still provides - ice cream at Creole Creamery, snowballs at Hansen's Sno-Bliz, two playgrounds, a children's library, and pizza. And of course Mardi Gras. I have moved three times in the last 15 years. Never more than 6 blocks.
Jeff Clary purchased this House in 2006
What makes this House unique
Our lovely house is located Uptown and is a laid-back residential area known for its oak trees and landmark restaurants like the late-night Camellia Grill and the iconic Jacque-Imo’s, serving Creole cuisine. Venerable live music venues include the Maple Leaf Bar, for brass bands, bayou tunes and dancing. Quirky bookstores and indie clothing boutiques line Oak Street, while Palmer Park has a popular monthly art market. Boutiques and antique shops sit alongside fine-dining restaurants, casual cafes and local bars on and around Magazine Street.

Great time in NOLA
We enjoyed our stay in New Orleans. The apartment is located very central in the Garden District area. We could walk or ride bikes or take the trolley to everywhere.
Great place to explore Magazine Street, easy access to streetcar and French Quarter
We suddenly had an impromptu trip to NOLA pop up as a possibility, and Jeff was able to fit us in thanks to a last minute cancellation. So pleased it worked out good for all! We were in a comfortable spot, easy to park for the evening, and could bring the small dog we couldn't board (impromptu boarding was harder!). We were comfortable and charmed by the home and neighborhood. Appreciated good communications and a comfy matress - slept well. Thanks much!
Tidy, quiet, convenient
Our week-long stay was terrific. The apartment is pretty, clean, well-maintained, uncluttered but decently kitted out. The neighborhood is leafy, quiet and safe, with plenty of parking. The landlord was responsive, gracious, available and otherwise non-intrusive. Highly recommended. Thanks for a wonderful week in New Orleans.
Located right of Magazine Street walking distance from a lot of great places. The pictures make it look a little more high end than it actually is but it is still nice enough. Jeff is great to work with - we had one minor issue when we first arrive and Jeff immediately came and got it taken care of.
Oct 2017 stay
The facilities were comfortable & livable. Would like to see a 2nd TV in the lounging area adjacent to the kitchen. Enjoyed relaxing on the front porch. Would stay there again.
We really enjoyed our stay here. We had rental #202. It was clean and simple yet had that New Orleans flare. Bed was comfortable. And I felt the little place was very cozy! Parking was hit or miss as there is a big construction dumpster across the street taking spots and a vehicle taking two spots was parked in front of house the entire stay. ( NO is a crowded town, parking is just difficult not isolated to this spot). But we managed with the help of friendly neighbors who shared the do's and don'ts of parking in NO. We chose this place for location as most of the eateries we wanted to try were in a 3 mile radius. We never once encountered the football or Square tourist crowds. I would definitely stay here again as it suited our needs for a family of three. Oh, and owner is very nice and available, we arrived at 10pm and was not aware that the front entry door locks automatically, well we locked the keys inside the house!! We felt so bad having to call so late but his response was kind and quick!!
