My husband & I are repeat guests at this unit. See the review following our first stay (March 23, 2014). Everything I said then is still true. Part of what makes our trips to Hawaii so enjoyable is being able to stay here. There is an uninterrupted view, from the living room and the bedroom, of almost nothing but islands, ocean and sky. That cannot be achieved anywhere else, for anything close to the same price.
There is ample parking. The process of checking-in and printing a parking pass goes without a hitch. The grounds have many tress and shrubs that create a truly tropical setting. There's a quiet and private feeling at this facility. The condo is comfortable and well-furnished in charming Hawaiian motif. If it's too warm to set on the large, west-facing lanai, we can turn the chairs in the living room to watch the sunset everyday.
You'll have everything you need in the kitchen, one of the advantages of a vacation rental over a hotel. In the condo, you'll also find extras like binoculars, and beach chairs, towels and umbrellas to make it easy to hang out on the beach nearby.
I'm already planning for next year.

I am writing this as I stare at the unobstructed view of the beautiful ocean from the balcony or “lanai”. This condo was perfect for my wife and I as far as location, cleanliness and size. The kitchen was well-stocked, the bed very comfortable and plenty of beach gear such as snorkels, fins, chairs, umbrellas, towels etc available. The owner Adrian was outstanding to work and always got back you our inquiries in a matter of hours. I am sorry to leave as I will miss the sound of the ocean lulling is to sleep every night but will most definitely rebook this property when I return to Maui.
Awesome place to stay in Maui
This condo was great and it look exactly like the pictures posted. The views are spectacular and the amenities (pool, BBQ, lanai) were excellent. The condo is close to the supermarket, coffee, farmer's market so you don't have to go far.
We had a wonderful time in Maui and staying in this condo. We would definitely come back. The owner was wonderful to work with as well.

Wonderful property! In a great and quiet location with plenty of parking. The condo had everything we needed and was so much better than staying in a hotel. The property owner was very accommodating to our needs and responded promptly to any questions we had. It’s steps away from the beach and has spectacular views of the sunset in the evenings. I would stay here again!
Great Condo with a Great View
The property is very nice. Clean and comfortable with everything you need to enjoy your stay on Maui. The owner is very attentive and available in the event of any needs. The beach in front of the Mahana is very limited, but it is a short walk to the beach area where you can snorkel or swim. If we decide to return to Maui, we would not hesitate to stay here again. If you are looking for a quiet place - this is it. Lahaina is very close with lots of shopping and dining. A large grocery market is across the road from the Mahana. Truly a wonderful week in Maui! You can't go wrong.
Thank you for submitting a review and glad that you enjoyed your stay. Several beaches on Maui have had beach erosion the past couple of years. The beach at the Mahana had been much better when we were there in April, but we noticed last week that the sand was on the move again. There is some coral as you enter the ocean but, as you note, it is not far to get around that. The sand does come and go during the year, it depends on the tides and it usually comes back. Mahalo.
