Old School Minnesota Vacation
Great customer service, Minnesota touch. Private yet there when we needed them. My only knock was extra paperwork website outside of VRBO. Sue was great, had an awesome vacation. The resort, lake and surrounding area had plenty to do.
We loved it! Everything was perfect. Everyone was friendly. We loved the special touches especially the welcome sign.
Great hosts, clean cabins, wonderful location.
If you enjoy being greeted by beautiful, personalized artwork and mouthwatering, homemade salted, chocolate-chunk cookies as you step back in time into a vintage, uniquely appointed cabin with a working Ben Franklin wood stove and screened porch 80 feet from Gull lake then you will appreciate Samara Pointe. The tranquility is priceless and proximity to unique shopping and wonderful restaurants is superb.
We will definitely return!
We soooooo much enjoyed meeting you Susan and Scott! You two are an absolute delightful couple! Hope you have lots of FUN this weekend in the Twin Cities with your family and look forward to hopefully seeing you back again soon! Safe travels!
Great little getaway
Nice little spot on Gull Lake. Cabins great for a family getaway, perfect to unplug and relax. Fun amenities at the resort- games, canoes, kayaks to use, etc. Cabins are well maintained and have mostly everything you need. We’ll be back again.
Terrific for a family
Such a family friendly place. Greeted us with presents for the kids, have a shed full of lawn toys, great beach and the water is shallow for a ways out and the kayaks. Classic rustic cabin with a screened in porch. Tim, the maintenance man, asked us if the kids wanted to go fishing and produces two poles with bait. Showed us how to put the bait on the hook and our 5yr old caught her first fish. Close to Nisswa for ice cream and a great bookstore.
Very Pleasant Quiet Lakefront Cabin
We spent four relaxing days at this property. The staff were very attentive and had good recommendations for local activities. Our only concern was the $75 per day extra person charge for a 10 year old girl.
Thanks so much for staying with us Terry and Steve. It was a delight meeting you and your friends from Denmark. You were such a fun group! We're really glad you mentioned your concern about the extra person charge so we can explain what that charge was for since it wasn't just for Sophia. The base rate was based on two people, but since you had five people in your party there was an additional $25 per night charged per person ($25 x 3 people = $75). Please call us if you want to discuss. Thanks again and hope to see you back again! Warmest regards...the B's
