A comfortable house (state licensed), two bedrooms down (master bedroom has a queen bed and second bedroom has a full sized bed)(* all linens and towels are furnished, including beach towels), a living room that seats nine with a desk, a new LED Hi-Definition TV (includes DISH satellite with DVR), telephone (local and long distance calls are free), WIFI internet, one bath with tub, shower, and a washer and dryer, a large screened/glassed-in porch which includes a dining table with four chairs, a sofa, and two chairs, full kitchen with a table and four chairs plus a dishwasher and microwave, 150 feet of frontage, a 50 foot private dock with access to the Lake Chippewa Flowage,
where you can keep your boat or pontoon for the week , a fire ring, an outdoor table with umbrella and four chairs, lounge and lawn chairs, and a canoe all on a 1 1/2 acre waterfront lot. There's plenty to do up north! Dozens of north land golf courses are known for their beauty and challenges. Unique forest landscapes are open to hiking, mountain biking, and wildlife viewing. Fishing on over 15,000 acres on the Lake Chippewa Flowage offers a wide variety of species. The lake offers world class musky, walleye, northern pike, bass, crappie, bluegill, and perch.
There are opportunities for quiet sports like canoeing , kayaking, boarding, and bird watching. There is a public DNR boat landing directly across the road where you can launch a boat or pontoon. It can be brought under the bridge and docked safely for the week. There are 1 1/2 miles of hiking trails adjacent to the house. There is a fire ring on the property to enjoy campfires. There is a lighted fish house for cleaning your fish. Boat and pontoon rentals are available at nearby marinas.

At the water's edge you will see deer, loons, bear, herons, otters, eagles, raccoons, otter, and beaver, All popular water sports are enjoyed on the flowage. Attractions include the World Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame (Big Musky), World Lumberjack Championship, Musky Festival, Fat Tire Bicycle Race, Wilderness Walk, mini golf, go carts, Monday flea market, off road biking, in town biking trails, canoe and kayak trips, guided fishing trips, boat trips on Lake Superior, ferry to Madeline Island, a public beach, Cable Natural History Museum, and guided fishing guides available. Activities include fishing, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking, trails for regular biking, golfing, parks for hiking and enjoying a picnic lunch, disc golf, pickle ball, horseback riding, shopping in downtown Hayward and Cable. The area provides numerous festivals, day trips, scenic drives. There are four mini-golf courses in Hayward. Outside Hayward is a disc golf course at Fiddler's Creek. There are weekly lumberjack shows in Hayward. Downtown Hayward and the Lumberjack Village offer lots of shopping.

LCO Casino and Convention Center is approximately ten miles east of the cabin. Free entertainment is offered weekly. Casual dining and buffet style dining is available here.

Lake Superior is a 1.5 hour drive.

Scenic Bayfield offers numerous activities. Outstanding dining is abundant.

The house is adjacent to over one mile of hiking trails. Other trails include Hatchery Creek Park which connects to the Birkie Trail, a new nature trail at the library in town, and the Hospital Trail.

Duluth, MN is 1 1/2 hours north of the cabin. There is a large maritime museum which is fun to visit.

Nearby Spooner features an annual rodeo.

Cable offers lots of unique shops .

Airplane rides are available at the airport.

Several picnic spots are available on the Lake Chippewa Flowage on various islands.

You can reach numerous restaurants by boat for dining out or purchasing an ice cream cone or shake.

Fish frys are popular at a variety of restaurants nearby. Several restaurants specialize in homemade pizzas. West Dairy in Hayward has great home made ice cream. A new restaurant, The Farmstead, offers organic produce, specialty foods, sorbet, and a unique atmosphere.

Guided fly fishing is available at two locations, one in Hayward and one east of the cabin. There is guide service available on the Lake Chippewa Flowage for all types of fish.

A farmer's market is held weekly in Hayward.

There is a movie theater in Hayward with shows daily.

Park Theater in Hayward brings a variety of music to the area as well as plays.

The Big Top Chautauqua in Bayfield has a full schedule of famous entertainers throughout the summer.

Solon Springs has weekend musical performances.

Horseback riding is available nearby.

The chamber of commerce has a large convention center in Hayward with lots of interesting activities available in the area.

There is a new bike trail that runs within the city limits of Hayward.

Off road biking is popular in the area with plenty of trails for all levels of ability.

Canoe, kayak, and board rentals are available on Lake Hayward.

Rentals are available on the Namakagon River for tubing, canoeing, and kayaking.

About the owner: We have always enjoyed the Lake Chippewa Flowage. The property has been a favorite place to spend time in the outdoors with family and friends.. We enjoy fishing, golfing, hiking, biking, canoeing, and kayaking in the area. There are numerous activities and dining spots available in the Hayward area.

Why the Owner Chose Hayward, WI, USA:
It's a great place to relax and enjoy excellent outdoor recreation offered in the north woods. The fishing is great and you can always view the wildlife while you're out on the water. The lake has very few homes built along the shoreline because most of the land surrounding the lake is owned by the State of Wisconsin. If you enjoy tourist attractions, the Hayward area offers a variety of activities for all ages from the Musky Festival in June, the Fourth of July events.,the World Lumberjack Contest in July, and the Fat Tire Bicycle Race in September.

The Unique Benefits at this House:
You can leave your boat or pontoon right in front of the house at the private 50 foot dock. There's a fish cleaning house on the property. The property offers convenient waterfront access to 15,000 acres on the Lake Chippewa Flowage. It's close to the Hayward and Cable Lakes area. The downtown has lots of shopping and outdoor dining on Main Street. Trembley's candy shop is a favorite. There are great walking trails at the Hayward Library on Highway 63 and at Hatchery Creek Park off Highway 77. The Park Theater downtown offers a variety of live entertainment. The Hayward movie theater is located on Highway 27 south. Wilderness Walk has wildlife viewing for the family and is located on Highway 27 south. There are plenty of things to do while you're vacationing in the Hayward Lakes area including riding stables, canoe, kayak, and tubing trips, four mini golf courses, go-carts, and the Fishing Hall of Fame which includes the 'Big Musky.' In June, the Musky Festival features a fishing contest, parade, carnival rides, and a craft show. Over the Fourth of July there are several fireworks displays. The Fat Tire Race begins downtown in September and ends in Cable.
