Although we live out of the area, we have a wonderful property manager who lives in the area. Trudy is very helpful and accommodating. Feel free to call her with any questions or problems that may arise.

To be honest, the pictures make this home look much more spacious than it is. Everything pictured is accurate, it's just closer together than it appears. That said, the beds and overall furniture are amazingly comfortable! My family had no problem falling asleep on the couches and patio chairs in the sun!

Everything was really clean, bath towels were well stocked and the kitchen had all the necessary features. We saw no animals but the street the home is on has no street lights so heading outside to see the stars is an amazing experience! We used the bbq and enjoyed a great evening with the whole family in the kitchen and dining room space.

The dishes were a little light for a home that could sleep 12. The window coverings really don't stop light from coming in and at this time of year, woke us every day at 5am. The bunk bed room might be an uninsulated add on as it was absolutely freezing at night but there is a heater in each room. Which is also nice for those that might want their room warmer than other guests.

Bonus here for us is that four bedrooms are downstairs and the showers are walk in. We were accommodating four grandparents with limited mobility so they only had to get up the two steps to the front door and then were able to fully enjoy the home.

Overall, it is a cozy home in a beautiful area. I would stay again. Next time in the winter so I can make use of the bedroom fireplace!

Great property

  • 5 of 5

This is a great house. We stayed in this house over Labor Day with our teenage kids and their friends. Lots of room (including a bunk room in the back where the kids could stay up late and play games and disturb nobody). The bedrooms are all mountain cute. The kitchen and great room are warm and well appointed. Beautiful deck. It was exactly what we wanted, owners were great and responsive. They even left us a welcome basket filled with treats (popcorn, hot cocoa and such)...nice touch.

We had our annual board retreat here....absolutely perfect! We had a minor problem with a toilet but Trudy brought us a repair part which we fixed in minutes! Great location for what we do and we got a lot accomplished. I hope this property will be available to us in the future.

Flagstaff, Arizona

The name given "Family getaway in the pines" is perfect for this cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We are thrilled that this cabin was just put on VRBO, it is all that it promises to be and more! The owners were very quick getting back to us and answered any questions we had. We enjoyed the quiet culdesac and the wonderful decks, we had breakfast ( big kitchen) on the front deck as well as several barbecue dinners. Flagstaff is nearby and we had such fun exploring & hiking. This house was great for our 2 families, the kids loved the bunk room. And we so enjoyed our early morning coffee on the master bedroom deck. The aspens by the front deck added to the serenity of this cabin. We can't wait to book another stay here!
