About Laura

Our family purchased this townhome in 2008. We had a very successful rental year before deciding to reside in Charleston full-time. We are now moving to a slightly larger home (also in the downtown area) and are once again opening our townhome for rental.

we loved the townhouse, it had everything we needed and more. location was excellent, we used the park across the street,we walked downtown and we had easy access to the highway to hop over to sullivans island. when the kids wanted to stay out later, the taxis had a flat rate they charged which was nice. the beds were very comfortable also

Good location, very pretty!

  • 5 of 5

I went on a girls' long weekend with family members. The townhouse slept 4 of us comfortably, and the extra half bath made it perfect for us to share the space. It was decorated very nicely, and was updated. We were about 6 (short) blocks from the free trolley pickup, and it was easy to get around without having to take the car everywhere. The free parking was also a benefit! The owners were very diligent about staying in contact before our arrival, and made themselves available on the day of checkin to answer questions, which was very helpful. It was like a home away from home, and so much better than a hotel room! I would definitely stay here again if I was visiting Charleston!

Great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

My family of four thought this rental was fabulous! The owners were very easy to make arrangements with and the rental property was exactly as described. The location was ideal - in a nice residential area that was still close to many great restaurants. It was a short walk to the free shuttle that runs through much of Charleston. I highly recommend this rental property.

Terrific, comfortable stay in downtown Charleston

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I just returned from a terrific stay at 301 Broad in Charleston. The location is in a quiet residential neighborhood that is a short walk to the beautiful waterfront houses and a 15-20 min walk to the bustle of historic downtown. We were traveling with our 18 mo old son and found everything we needed at the house - including laundry, comfortable kitchen, and plenty of parking. The master bedroom is spacious and has lots of light, and the living/dining areas is comfortable as well.

We'll definitely consider staying here when we're next in Charleston!

Va Beach Girls in Charleston

  • 5 of 5

I spent a long weekend here with a couple friends and it was perfect! We used the Half Marathon as an excuse to go to Charleston and didn't want to stay in a hotel which is how we found this cute little place on Broad Street. The house had everything we needed, it was very clean, well-maintained and it made you feel like you were in Charleston. Unlike a lot of rentals I've been to in the past, the owner here provided dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee filters, etc. We brought our own but it was nice to see that they cared enough to provide some to get us started! We walked everywhere, King Street for shopping, Battery Park, the Market, etc. There is a little lake right across the street where people ran, walked dogs, kids, etc all day. We walked to and from the house during the day and night and didn't have any issues. It was about a 10 minute drive to Folley Beach and Sullivans Island. The owner was very nice, reserving the house was simple and checking in was a breeze. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Charleston Home - Terrific Location

  • 5 of 5

As a family group vacationing from several different places (Atlanta, Chicago, London) this was a lovely place to stay. Charleston was beautiful and we had a terrific time despite Hurricane Sandy's best efforts to ruin the weather. The home was well located with an easy walk to the historic district sights and shopping. It was clean, bright and inviting. An absolutely charming place to take a break between all the fun. I have already recommended this property to my girlfriends for a Spring trip!

Conveniently located South of Broad town-home directly across the street from Moultie Playground and tennis courts, and Colonial Lake. I mile to Market Street, King Street, shops and restaurants. Walk, bike, or take a 'pedi-cab' to all downtown attractions. Folly beach 20 minutes by car. Isle of Palms and Sullivan Beach within 30 minutes.
