David purchased this Farmhouse in 2016
Why David chose Larkspur
Growing up on farms in Wisconsin, we purchased this property because of the nostalgic feeling and wonderful memories we have on where we were raised. The property is peaceful, relaxing and just a great place to enjoy spending time with friends and family.
What makes this Farmhouse unique
Remodeled one of a kind old western ranch from the 1800's. Horses, cattle, wildlife, deer, elk, and turkeys.

The owner is extremely nice and was very accommodating to all we needed. The location of the house is breathtaking. The house is up to date with all you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. So quiet and peaceful at night. The beds slept wonderful. We enjoyed sitting outside on the big porch. The house was very clean!! I would highly recommend this property!
Hidden Cherry Ranch is a Gem
David made everything easy and the home is a wonderful getaway. Any questions or help needed were quickly addressed. A great place for the whole family to gather.
Family farm house
We had a wonderful stay with extended family! Young grandchildren loved exploring the farm! David is a great host!
USAFA Graduation Week
Enjoyed our week at what we affectionately called "the farm". We had the full complement of guests and had enough room to get ready each morning, prepare and eat meals, and have a place to relax. Weather didn't allow us to use patio, barn bar and outdoor space as much as we hoped, but the views and country atmosphere were great. Host family was great to work with and willing to make a couple of adjustments to our arrival date since we rented a year in advance for our special occasion. Easy drive to Academy for any future usafa parents or family. A great location and facility for our last trip to Colorado Springs area for awhile. I wouldn't have any reservations to stay here again and a solid choice if you are considering it for an upcoming trip.
Peaceful, beautiful country Thanksgiving.
We truly enjoyed staying at this property. David was a wonderful host and extremely attentive and accommodating. Loved the location and the solitude it offered. My only suggestion would be to replace older carpet with wood floors that possibly are underneath. Would keep the character of the house and possibly make upkeep easier as well. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Peaceful and quiet. Tucked away wit beautiful views from the deck.
Old farmhouse with all you can asked for. Great kitchen and 4 nice bedrooms. Great front deck to enjoy meals or just read a book. David and ranch managers were always willing to help. If you are coming with horses for a competition at the Colorado Horse Park, this beats a stall and hotel any day of the week and it is only an easy 30 minute drive away. We will be back.
