We had a great time at the cabin this past weekend, the location was great getting to Squaw in the morning. The kitchen was nice and big and we cooked a nice dinner at night. We loved the rustic feel of the cabin.
The only issue I had was the large bed upstairs was very uncomfortable. I usually prefer a firm mattress, however, this mattress was much to firm. I constantly woke up at night and had neck pains in the morning. The futon downstairs was much much more comfortable. Aside from that, it was a great place to stay!
We stayed for the Thanksgiving weekend. This place was very very clean, and they even allowed us to bring our lovely dog Piper. The location was great too, it was tucked away but still on the main road. Over all we had a great time. The only thing I would add is that this place is a little smaller than we expected, other than that it was perfect for my partner and I.
House was small but nice for a small family. But no place to BBQ outside and road noise was significant. Next door the lot is under construction so back yard & kitchen view is unappealing. Location is very good and can walk to restaurants and the beach easily. New minigolf place is nearby as well. When we checked in there was the smell of gas all in the house as the cleaners left one of the stove burners open - that was highly dangerous and unacceptable. Luckily we found the source quickly and opened all the windows to air out the home.
We had such a wonderful time. Great location within walking distance to the town.
My husband and I stayed here at North shore Lake Tahoe in Carnelian Bay over the summer. He passed recently and this was one of the last places we traveled to. We were there a few times and enjoyed this quaint and unique cabin that had a nice kitchen as we cooked a few meals and sat out on the deck. It has a great location and you can walk right to the lake where there are shops, restaurants, etc. close by. I would definitely visit here again as it was reasonably priced and in the perfect location. It was clean and comfortable, and would highly recommend this cabin.
