Beautiful location ......

  • 4 of 5

Great location & fun cabin. The bedrooms are nice, but 2 queen beds are needed instead of 1 queen & a single. An upgrade on living room couches is needed. The current ones are super uncomfortable.

Not great...

  • 2 of 5

Difficult to get in and out of driveway when there's a lot of snow because visibility is impaired and driveway leads right out to rte28 which has a lot of traffic. Front door is difficult to lock, bathroom door wouldn't close, lots of mouse poop in drawers/cabinets, the house was not very well equiped (there were no extra comforters or blankets when we arrived in the dead of winter, one roll of toilet paper, kitchen had no dishwasher, also not well equiped), sleeps four but trundle bed is very uncomfortable and takes up most of the bedroom when pulled out etc. etc. We've rented many cabins in Tahoe and this one was not up to the usual standard and not worth the price.

Nice little place for the price!

  • 4 of 5

Overall, great location and view of the lake. The only complaint is the front bedroom in right on the main street and there is no curtain. So my kids heard trucks and saw headlights all night long. The back bedroom is quiet, so my wife and I were fine, but overall we enjoyed our stay here. Rental company was great and the place was very nice for the price!

Nice Cozy Cabin in Carnelian Bay

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time at the cabin this past weekend, the location was great getting to Squaw in the morning. The kitchen was nice and big and we cooked a nice dinner at night. We loved the rustic feel of the cabin.

The only issue I had was the large bed upstairs was very uncomfortable. I usually prefer a firm mattress, however, this mattress was much to firm. I constantly woke up at night and had neck pains in the morning. The futon downstairs was much much more comfortable. Aside from that, it was a great place to stay!

Clean, small and cozy

  • 4 of 5

We stayed for the Thanksgiving weekend. This place was very very clean, and they even allowed us to bring our lovely dog Piper. The location was great too, it was tucked away but still on the main road. Over all we had a great time. The only thing I would add is that this place is a little smaller than we expected, other than that it was perfect for my partner and I.
