**Please do not pay online without inquiring about availability, obtaining a contract, and understanding terms. I often have reservations pending (in limbo) and I need to look at your dates BEFORE you book online. I DENY ALL BOOKING REQUESTS MADE WITHOUT SPEAKING TO ME FIRST.

**I appreciate it when possible to fill the calendar right up to the next renter. If your dates cause unrentable gaps in my calendar (leaving one or two single nights only), I may not be able to accept your reservation.

After reading one or two ads, these things really start running together and you focus on the price and forget it. I would hope that my ad would be more helpful than that. So I’ll think a little outside the box here. If you want the same-old information, see my neighbors’ ads. My ad will tell you the rest!

Waterscape is shaped like a U. The beach is at the top of the U. The A unit is on the left. The B unit is on the right. The C unit is at the bottom (parallel to the beach). So the C unit is farthest from the beach, but the walk is lovely and the rates are cheaper. From the higher units in the C building, you have a wonderful view of the beach. This unit is a ground unit. You can’t see the beach. However, you can step out of my unit onto the ground and you’re on your way. C203 is directly behind the toddler pool—I’m talking a few steps! So it’s a trade-off. See the beach and fight the stairs. See the courtyard and you’re ready to go! People who visit here frequently keep the secret of the ground level units. They are often highly sought units and tend to book up early.

If you want to see the pools and hear the waterfalls, you should stay in the C building (anywhere!), or in EVEN NUMBERED units in A or B. If you want things quieter, the odd numbered units in A & B face the outside of the property. You can see the beach from all of these odd units, but B directly faces other 6 story condos so you have a narrow window in which to see. (I stayed over there once. I didn’t care for it.). The odd units on the A side are currently overlooking construction of a new hotel. When the hotel is constructed they will have a view of the hotel plus a narrow strip to see the ocean. It is quiet on that side (except maybe not during construction).

When we were shopping for condos I looked at EVERYTHING. I had never stayed in the C building before. As we looked at the condos for sale we were weighing A vs. B. On the last day, we visited C. My husband and I both were in immediate agreement: this is where it’s at!! The first thing that got us was the layout. The kitchens in A and B are TINY. It is SO FRUSTRATING. There is limited cabinet space, limited space to store your groceries except right on the counter. And when you do, then there’s no counterspace to work. The kitchens in the C building are very large. More than one person can go in at a time and there’s plenty of room for everything, including cooking! Next benefit: Parking! This may not seem like a big deal but after staying in the B building MANY times and then staying in our unit, I realized I had no idea what I was missing. It’s very convenient. If I forgot something in the car, 10 seconds and it’s in the condo. This is C building only…and the lower you are, the less levels you have to drive up to get this convenience. Finally, we loved being on ground level. The way Waterscape is built is unique. There’s a little bit of maze to get to the pools if you aren’t on the ground level. The C building has a luscious green courtyard in front. My kids play on it a LOT! They love to pull each other around the grass in the wagon. There is usually a football or soccer game going on between the kids in the bottom floor units. They can do this and I can see them from the couch! Love my unit!!!!

You will find most of the units in Waterscape to be “Vanilla.” The contractors painted them all the same and that is how most remain. C203, has been loved and cared for and has its own personality. It is colorful and classy, decorated with beachy flair, and most importantly to me, IT IS NOT CLUTTERED. If I see one more fake plant (I mean dust collector) inside a condo I think I’ll scream. I have two small kids and when we go to the beach, we bring our house with us. I don’t need extra clutter already in the condo! C203 is a unit for families. I love children and they are welcome in my unit. I have some things in there that might help you out during your stay, including an all-terrain wagon to get you around the property, a pack-n-play, high chair, toys, floats, etc. Our bunk room has a light-blocking privacy curtain so your kids can sleep in while you have your morning coffee. I try my best to make everyone comfortable and happy!

I don’t just cater to kids. Grown-ups are more than welcome in my unit. ;-) We have a top-of-the-line pillow top King size sleep number in the Master bedroom. I have big, thick towels, very comfortable mattresses, and the kitchen is stocked with nice gadgets. (I rented at Waterscape for a long time—I know how frustrating it is to go in a unit and barely be able to find a spatula. It drives me insane!!) You are renting at a top-rated resort. In my opinion, each unit should reflect that. Many owners own a unit for an investment and don’t oversee the unit closely. Their mistake--My advantage!

I don’t charge any fees except tax and cleaning--another benefit of working directly with an owner. Please keep in mind: If your dates leave a 1 or 2 day gap in my calendar before or after your visit, it makes those dates unrentable. I do not like this (its like giving away two free nights so you can rent from me), and it's why most owners rent by the week. I reserve the right to decline your dates if they cause unrentable gaps in my calendar.

How to book: Booking with me is easy. I email you 3 simple documents to fill out and sign. You return them with your $250 deposit. The deposit secures your reservation and covers any damage to the unit that you might cause. Rent is due 1 month prior to check-in. I return the deposit after your stay if the unit is left in the same condition as found. All of this is covered in detail in the rental paperwork. If you have questions about anything, of course, I’m just an email or phone call away.

Technical details about C203:

The unit sleeps 8 people comfortably.

**Master BR has a king bed. Master bath has double vanities, a walk in shower, and a large bathtub.

**Guest BR has a queen bed. Guest bath has a single vanity and walk in shower (no tub).

**Bunk Room has bunk beds and a light-blocking privacy curtain to keep your kids soundly sleeping.

**Living room has a queen size sofa bed.

**There are two full bathrooms. The master bath has a large tub and separate shower. The guest bath has a walk in shower.

No keys. C203 has a keypad lock. You set the code when you arrive. No dealing with the front desk. You can go straight to the condo. No dealing with keys! Never again will I dig through a sandy beach bag trying to find a key to get in.

The unit has all the amenities you’d expect. Washer/Dryer, dishwasher, icemaker, etc.

And don’t be fooled by the savvy ads on VRBO—EVERYBODY has free WiFi!!

~I no longer buy in to Waterscape's beach service. Most of the time my units have more than 2 adults and providing 2 chairs either separates families or costs them an additional $120 to rent another set. Then you get stuck on the 2nd or 3rd row with no view, and they pull the chairs up 2 hours before sunset (BOO!). To better serve my guests, I now include 4 very nice beach chairs, an 8' umbrella (larger than beach service's) with a twist-in anchor for easy setup, and a huge rolling beach cart with sand wheels (with a built in cooler) for ease in carrying it to and from. This way, you can set up wherever you like and stay as long as you want, avoid the crowds, and have the freedom to take up as much space as you like.

About Danica

We are a family of four from Alabama. We love to come to the beach to relax together. Frequently we bring our bicycles and bike around town, and even travel to nearby towns with long bike paths. (There is excellent biking nearby--ask if interested!)

We own two condos at Waterscape and they actually keep us VERY busy when we travel here. We strive to keep our condos impeccable, and this means a lot of work when we visit. We love it though, and our guests always come first.

Why Danica chose Fort Walton Beach

We came to Waterscape in 2009, and have not visited another beach property since. Waterscape has everything kids could ever dream for, and adults of all ages fall in love with the place. We bought in Waterscape because there just isn't anything like it around. We love the grounds and amenities, and the area isn't too crowded. The sugar white beaches are beautiful. We just love it here.

What makes this condo unique

I love this property because I can park, unload my groceries and kids, walk a few feet to my front door, and never touch stairs or an elevator. I also love being able to walk right out to the pool from my front door! We are close to the kids pool, and while sitting on the patio you can relax to the sounds of the waterfall.

Christmas family vacation

We had a great Christmas vacation at this condo! It was very clean, organized and updated! It had EVERYTHING we needed for our stay! The bunk room was fantastic for our children, they loved it. The owner was fantastic to work with! Very accommodating and helpful! They were very organized and added special touches for our stay. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone!

Best Thanksgiving trip ever!

This was our second time in this unit and we have already booked our third stay for this summer. The unit is impeccable, clean, spacious, and convenient. The owners make it extra special with the thoughtful personalized gifts for the kids. We cannot say enough about how much we love this unit. The owners are very kind and easy to work with. We highly recommend this unit and won't stay anywhere else!!

Buckle your seat belt - you found the one!

My family of 6 are fresh off a week long vacation at this condo!

Awesome weather- mid & high 80's everyday Woohooo!!!

We have a 5yr. old & 3yr. old & it was perfect for everyone.

This condo is on the ground floor, well stocked, walks out to yard - & very close to kid pool.

Four very handy beach chairs & other beach accessories come stocked in closet & in patio deck box.

This unit is very close to parking lot , which is a good thing... think groceries .... & luggage !

This is our second trip to Waterscape but first W/ Danica.

She is great to work with, responds quickly & puts a personal touch on the entire experience.

We will keep this property in our Favorites 4-sure!!!!

Absolutely Perfect

This was our second trip to Waterscape in Fort Walton but our first trip staying in C203 and we loved it! Danica has every detail covered, the condo was beautiful and felt like home. My sons loved their personalized cups and sand buckets that were left for them and we loved our care free stay. We enjoyed our trip so much we booked our next stay before the week was half over.

Everything was perfect!

This was our first time in Fort Walton and we loved our condo! The owner had everything detail in place before we got there and was very easy to contact. The condo felt like home and we loved that it had a pack and play and high chair for our little one. It saved so much when traveling. There were plenty of supplies, beach toys, kitchen tools, and even flashlights for searching on the beach at night! I felt like the condo was very clean and would rent again in a heartbeat! Thank you for making our vacation the best!! The personal touches were so thoughtful... I can tell the owner cares for her renters and loves what she does! We will be back!!!

Magical, family vacation!!

I have never left a review for a rental or a hotel. But this time I really felt that I needed to. Danica was amazing the entire time, from the starting process, to check-in, to the time we left! She went out of her way to leave our kids a personalized gift! When we arrived at the condo, the unit was refreshingly cool, Jimmy Buffet music was playing, and everything was ready for us to enjoy our week. I had the pleasure to meet Danica on the beach, and she was a delight!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful, and well kept condo with my family. I don't know when we will be back, but we WILL be back sometime in the future! My kids even requested that we get the EXACT same condo next time we visit. Oh, and if you haven't visited this area before, you must walk across the street to dinner at the Old Bay Steamer. It's a must!

Waterscape is just over the bridge from Destin, Florida. You will be minutes from the Big Kahuna Water Park. (It's a lot of fun!!) You will be surrounded by fresh, local seafood and have many choices of restaurants with local flair. Additionally, shopping is everywhere. The largest outlet mall in the southeast, Silver Sands Factory, is just a short drive down scenic Hwy. 98 in Destin.

**Cancellation Policy: Beyond 60 days before arrival: Anything you have paid will be returned in full. Between 30 & 60 days before arrival, deposit lost unless unit is re-rented. If it is re-rented, then deposit is returned less $25 fee. Within 30 days of arrival, rent and deposit lost unless unit is re-rented. If unit is re-rented, rent and deposit are returned in full less a $50 fee. I never keep your rent or deposit if I am able to re-rent. :-)
