Walk right into the shoals from this great location on the Little Red River, close to everything this quaint little town of Heber Springs has to offer. If you need to unwind, relax and wet a line, this place is for you. Sit outside and enjoy the sounds of the rushing water on the large comfortable covered deck overlooking the river. My cottage is right on the shoals so walk right into the water and fly fish or bait fish for rainbow or brown trout. Look up the river for a spectacular view of sugar loaf mountain. Inside this cute cottage you will find hardwood floors in the large master bedroom, large flat screen TV, and Egyptian cotton linens. Enjoy the large tiled shower in the master bath. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up your catch or put them on the gas grill outside on the wood deck. Enjoy-I know you will!!!!

About Lea Blackwell
I am a long time resident of Heber Springs. I love this quaint little town and having access to fly fishing (the reason I moved here) on the beautiful Little Red River as well as boating and jet skiing on gorgeous Greers Ferry Lake. I am an interior designer by trade and aslo am a licensed real estate agent with Crye-Leike Brock Real Estate.
Lea Blackwell purchased this Bungalow in 2011
Why Lea Blackwell chose Heber
I bought this house in town and had it physically moved to my property on the river in 2011. I love to restore older homes and had lots of fun working on this one.
What makes this Bungalow unique
The sound of the water rushing over the shoals from my comfy covered deck and the beautiful view of the river are my cottage best features. (the inside is pretty cute too if I do say so myself!!!)

A little piece of paradise
We just happened to stay at Flyfishinn the COLDEST weekend of the year over New Year's Eve. My best friend and I started a tradition that we would always spend New Year together, and this is year two for us and our husbands to spend a weekend in a cabin just getting away from it all. Our stay was so peaceful and beautiful, even with the cold temps! The boys fished both the river and the pond (didn't have any luck this trip due to the cold) and us girls relaxed and enjoy doing some photography of the surrounding area. We also did some hiking and had a couple huge fires in the HUGE fire pit. The cozy cabin has everything you could need to the point you feel right at home. The well stocked kitchen allowed us to make several awesome meals without toting along all our kitchen utensils and pots. We lounged in the living room and caught up with each other over coffee. The beds were cozy and we all slept well. While we didn't need to do laundry during our stay, it was nice to have the option and I know in warmer weather that could come in real handy. Our dog Banjo felt right at home and loved getting to romp around with us on the acreage, chasing blue herons in the field. In warmer weather he will be excited to get down in the river with us. I think our favorite part was the big back porch overlooking the water which would be perfect come spring and summer for hanging out, grilling, and taking breaks from the water! Lea was such a sweet host and was easy to reach and always had an answer for our questions. She really does have a treasure in this property and we are already planning to come back when the weather flips in the spring or summer. Though I will say this gem is a great winter get away too! We can't wait for our next stay!
I’m so glad you enjoyed my little piece of heaven on earth! I love my place and feel so blessed to have it. I also enjoy sharing it with others, especially those who really appreciate it!
You are right, in the spring, summer and fall it doesn’t get much better!
Nice location, clean, well furnished home.
Enjoyed a short vacation in this home. Best location ever for fishing. Home was nicely furnished and clean. Owners were great to work with and answered all our questions Hope to return in the near future.
Love this home!
You arrive to the sounds of the river and a wide porch with lots of comfy seating. The house is great with more than everything you need. Beds are very comfortable and this place is quiet.
Lea was great to work with!!
Perfect setup for our family. Peaceful and private.
Peaceful setting with no neighbors. Walk down the bank to the river or canoe on the pond on the property. House was roomy and charming. Very relaxing. Short drive to town and the lake. Enjoyed the deer in the meadow.
This is a beautiful property with great privacy. The cottage is nice and roomy and provides all the comforts of home. We spent a great deal of time on the two decks overlooking the river. There is easy access to the river. We especially enjoyed the visits from deer in the field behind the property. Just an all around great getaway.
